4.2 Controls

5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Open the battery compartment cover.
  2. Insert one or both 2400 mAh batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
  4. To charge, connect the DC charger to the device and a power outlet. The LED display will indicate charging status.

The package includes two batteries, allowing you to charge one while using the other for continuous operation.

5.2 Mounting Options

The laser level offers multiple mounting solutions for various applications:

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off and Self-Leveling Mode

  1. Place the laser level on a stable surface or mount it using an appropriate accessory.
  2. Slide the power switch to the 'ON' position. The pendulum will unlock, and the device will automatically self-level.
  3. If the device is outside its self-leveling range (±3°), the laser lines will flash, and an audible alarm will sound. Adjust the device's position until it self-levels.
  4. To turn off, slide the power switch to the 'OFF' position. This also locks the pendulum for safe transport.

6.2 Manual/Locked Mode

For projecting inclined lines, such as for stairs or sloped roofs:

  1. With the power switch in the 'OFF' (locked) position, press and hold the power button on the control panel for 2 seconds.
  2. The laser lines will activate without self-leveling, allowing you to project lines at any desired angle.
  3. To exit manual mode, slide the power switch to 'ON' and then back to 'OFF', or simply turn the device off.

6.3 Switching Laser Lines

  • Press the 'H' button to cycle through the horizontal laser planes (one, two, or off).
  • Press the 'V' button to cycle through the vertical laser planes (one, two, or off).

6.4 Pulse Mode (Outdoor Use)

For extended range and outdoor visibility with a laser receiver (not included):

  1. Turn on the laser level in self-leveling mode.
  2. Press the pulse mode button (often indicated by a sun or pulse icon, or a specific combination of H/V presses, refer to the device's specific button layout if different from general).
  3. The laser lines will become dimmer but will be detectable by a compatible laser receiver up to 150 meters.
  4. Press the pulse mode button again to deactivate it.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the laser apertures clean and free of dust.
  • Battery Care: Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period. Store batteries in a cool, dry place.
