This manual provides detailed instructions for the operation and maintenance of your SPUNALP CM026 UHD 8K 70MP Underwater Digital Camera. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the camera to ensure proper function and longevity.

3. Camera Overview
Familiarize yourself with the camera's components and controls.

Key Components:
- Front Screen (1.44 inches): For selfies and monitoring.
- Rear Screen (2.88 inches): Main display for viewing and settings.
- Lens: Primary image capture component.
- Flash/SOS Light: Provides illumination in low light and emergency signal.
- Power Button: Turns the camera on/off.
- Shutter Button: Captures photos or starts/stops video recording.
- Mode Button (M): Switches between photo, video, and playback modes.
- Zoom Buttons (W/T): Adjusts digital zoom.
- OK Button: Confirms selections.
- Up/Down Navigation Buttons: For menu navigation and other functions.
- Micro SD Card Slot: For memory card insertion.

4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation and Charging
- Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the camera.
- Insert the 2500mAh lithium-ion battery, ensuring the correct orientation according to the diagram inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
- Connect the camera to a power source using the provided USB-C cable. The charging indicator will illuminate.
- Allow the battery to fully charge before first use (approximately 3-4 hours). The indicator will turn off or change color when charging is complete.

4.2. Micro SD Card Installation
- Locate the Micro SD card slot, typically next to the battery compartment or under a sealed flap.
- Insert the provided 64GB Micro SD card with the gold contacts facing the front of the camera until it clicks into place.
- To ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption, it is recommended to format the Micro SD card within the camera's settings menu before first use. Navigate to Menu > System Settings > Format SD Card and confirm.
4.3. Waterproof Seal Check
Before taking the camera underwater, ensure all covers (battery compartment, USB-C port, SD card slot) are securely closed and locked. The camera features a double-lock construction for enhanced waterproofing up to 33 feet (10 meters). Always check for any debris or hair around the seals that could compromise the waterproof integrity.
5. Operating the Camera
5.1. Power On/Off
- To power on: Press and hold the Power Button for approximately 3 seconds until the screen illuminates.
- To power off: Press and hold the Power Button for approximately 3 seconds.
5.2. Mode Selection
Press the Mode Button (M) to cycle through the available modes: Photo Mode, Video Mode, and Playback Mode.
5.3. Taking Photos (70MP)
- Switch to Photo Mode using the Mode Button (M).
- Frame your shot using the rear or front screen.
- The camera features autofocus. Allow a moment for the camera to focus on your subject.
- Press the Shutter Button to capture the image.

Digital Zoom (18X)
In Photo or Video Mode, use the W/T Buttons to zoom in (T) or zoom out (W) digitally up to 18 times.

Self-Timer
Access the self-timer settings via the menu. Options typically include 2-second, 5-second, and 10-second delays before capture.

5.4. Recording Videos (8K UHD)
- Switch to Video Mode using the Mode Button (M).
- Press the Shutter Button once to start recording. A red indicator or timer will appear on the screen.
- Press the Shutter Button again to stop recording.

5.5. Dual-Screen Operation
The camera features both a front (1.44") and rear (2.88") screen. The front screen is ideal for self-portraits or vlogging, allowing you to see yourself while recording. The rear screen is the primary display for general use and menu navigation.

5.6. Wi-Fi Connectivity
- Download the "Smart DV2" app from your smartphone's app store (Google Play Store or Apple App Store).
- Turn on the Wi-Fi function on your camera via the settings menu.
- On your smartphone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the camera's Wi-Fi network (SSID will be displayed on the camera screen).
- Enter the password displayed on the camera screen.
- Open the "Smart DV2" app to view, transfer, and share photos and videos.

5.7. Anti-Shake Function
To activate or deactivate the anti-shake (digital image stabilization) function, navigate to the camera's settings menu. This feature helps reduce blur caused by camera movement, especially during video recording.

5.8. Flash Light
The camera is equipped with a built-in flash for low-light conditions. The flash can also function as an SOS light for emergencies. Refer to the camera's menu for flash settings (Auto, On, Off) and SOS activation.

6. Maintenance
6.1. Waterproof Care
- After each use in saltwater, rinse the camera thoroughly with fresh water.
- Do not open the battery or SD card compartments while the camera is wet.
- Wipe the camera dry with a soft cloth before opening any compartments.
- Inspect the rubber seals regularly for any signs of wear, cracks, or debris.
6.2. Storage
- Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- If storing for extended periods, remove the battery.
6.3. Battery Care
- Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
- Charge the battery at least once every three months if not in regular use to maintain its health.
