3. Setup

Assembly:

  1. Attach Blower Tube: For blowing mode, securely attach the blower tube to the main unit.
  2. Attach Vacuum Tube and Bag: For vacuuming and mulching, attach the vacuum tube to the intake port and the 40L collection bag to the exhaust port. Ensure all connections are firm to prevent air leaks and ensure efficient operation.

Switching Modes:

The MZK ET1712-DH allows for quick and tool-free switching between blower and vacuum/mulcher modes.

  1. To Switch: Locate the mode switch lever on the side of the unit.

4. Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off:

Connect the power cord to a suitable outdoor extension cord and then to a grounded electrical outlet. To start the tool, press the ON/OFF switch. To stop, release or press the switch to OFF.

Blower Mode:

Hold the tool firmly by the ergonomic handle. Direct the blower tube towards the leaves or debris you wish to move. Use a sweeping motion to gather material into piles. The blower delivers up to 460 CFM of air volume and wind speeds up to 167 MPH.

Vacuum and Mulcher Mode:

With the vacuum tube and collection bag attached, switch the tool to vacuum mode. Guide the vacuum tube over the leaves. The integrated mulcher will reduce the volume of leaves at a 15:1 ratio, depositing them into the 40L collection bag. For best results, vacuum dry leaves and avoid wet debris or large sticks.

5. Maintenance

Cleaning:

  • Always disconnect the power cord before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior of the tool with a damp cloth. Do not use strong detergents or solvents.
  • Clear any debris from the air vents to prevent overheating.

Leaf Collection Bag Care:

  • Empty the collection bag regularly to maintain optimal vacuum performance.
  • Inspect the bag for tears or damage. Replace if necessary to prevent debris from escaping.
  • Clean the bag periodically by shaking out debris or rinsing with water and allowing it to air dry completely.
