5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On and Off

  • To turn ON the power supply, press the Power Switch (refer to Figure 3.1). The digital displays will illuminate.
  • To turn OFF the power supply, press the Power Switch again.

5.2 Setting Output Voltage

  1. Ensure the power supply is OFF before connecting your load.
  2. Select the desired voltage range using the Voltage Fixed Gear knob. For variable adjustment, select the "0-15V" setting.
  3. If "0-15V" is selected, use the Coarse Voltage Knob for major adjustments and the Fine Voltage Knob for precise tuning until the desired voltage is shown on the Voltage Display.
  4. Connect your load to the Output Positive Terminal (Red) and Output Negative Terminal (Black). The Grounding Terminal (Yellow) can be used for grounding if required by your application.
  5. Turn ON the power supply.

5.3 Setting Output Current Limit

The HUIWOSEN 1502D allows you to set a maximum current limit to protect your connected device.

  1. With the power supply OFF and no load connected, turn ON the unit.
  2. Select the desired maximum current limit using the Current Regulation knob (0.6A or 2A).
  3. Connect a short circuit (e.g., a wire) between the Output Positive and Output Negative terminals. The Current Display will now show the set current limit.
  4. Adjust the current limit using the Current Regulation knob if necessary.
  5. Remove the short circuit. The current display should now read zero.
  6. Connect your load and turn ON the power supply. The unit will now limit the current to the set maximum.
