1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the NEWBULIG Air Fryer. This appliance uses rapid air circulation technology to cook your favorite foods with little to no oil, resulting in crispy and delicious meals. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use to ensure safe and optimal operation.

2. Important Safety Instructions

  • Always place the air fryer on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls and other appliances to allow for proper air circulation.
  • Do not immerse the appliance, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
  • Ensure the voltage indicated on the appliance matches your local mains voltage before connecting.
  • Supervise children closely when the appliance is in use.
  • Do not operate the appliance if the plug, power cord, or the appliance itself is damaged.
  • Keep all ingredients in the basket to prevent contact with heating elements.
  • Do not cover the air inlet or air outlet openings during operation.
  • The basket and crisper plate become hot during use. Always use oven mitts when handling hot components.
  • Unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning. Allow it to cool completely before handling.

Visual Window and Rapid Air Circulation

4. Setup

Unpacking

  1. Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and labels from the appliance.
  2. Check that all components are present and undamaged.

Initial Cleaning

  1. Wash the cooking basket and crisper plate with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. These parts are also dishwasher safe.
  2. Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a damp cloth.
  3. Ensure all parts are thoroughly dry before use.

Placement

Place the air fryer on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 4 inches (10 cm) of clear space around the back and sides of the appliance for adequate ventilation.

First Use (Burn-Off)

It is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 350°F (175°C) before cooking food for the first time. This helps to eliminate any manufacturing odors. A slight odor or smoke may be present during this initial use; this is normal and will dissipate.

5. Operating Instructions

Basic Operation

  1. Prepare Food: Place your ingredients into the cooking basket, ensuring not to overfill. For best results, food should not exceed the MAX fill line.
  2. Insert Basket: Slide the cooking basket firmly into the main unit.
  3. Power On: Plug the air fryer into a grounded electrical outlet. The display will illuminate.
  4. Select Mode: Press the 'MENU' button to cycle through the 12 preset cooking modes (Air Fry, Roast, Bake, Reheat, Dehydrate, Chicken, Fries, Steam, Custard Tart, Wings, Seafood, Vegetables). Alternatively, manually set the temperature and time.
  5. Adjust Temperature/Time: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the temperature (99°F to 400°F) and time as needed. Press 'Time/Temp' to switch between adjusting time and temperature.
  6. Start Cooking: Press the 'Start/Cancel' button to begin the cooking cycle.
  7. Monitor Progress: Use the visual window and the internal light button (light bulb icon) to check on your food without opening the basket.
  8. Shake/Flip Food: For even cooking, some recipes may require shaking or flipping food halfway through the cooking time. The air fryer may beep to remind you. Carefully remove the basket, shake/flip, and reinsert.
  9. Completion: The air fryer will beep when the cooking cycle is complete and automatically shut off. Carefully remove the basket and transfer food to a serving dish.

7. Cleaning and Maintenance

Before Cleaning

  • Always unplug the air fryer from the power outlet.
  • Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning.

Basket and Crisper Plate

  • The non-stick cooking basket and crisper plate are dishwasher safe.
  • For manual cleaning, wash with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge.
  • Do not use metal kitchen utensils or abrasive cleaning materials, as this may damage the non-stick coating.
  • For stubborn food residue, soak the basket and crisper plate in hot water with some dish soap for about 10 minutes.

Interior and Exterior

  • Wipe the exterior of the air fryer with a damp cloth.
  • Clean the interior with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals.
  • Gently clean the heating element with a soft brush to remove any food residue.
  • Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing or next use.

8. Troubleshooting
