2. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your KIUP Air Tag with your Android device:

1. Open the Find Hub App: On your Android device (running Android 9 or later), open the Google Find Hub app or the 'Find My Device' app.
2. Initiate Connection: The 'Wireless locator' should appear on the interface. Tap 'Connect'.
3. Activate Tracker: Press the power button on the tracker once. You will hear a prompt sound.
4. Agree to Terms: Read and agree to the terms and conditions.
5. Open App: After successfully adding the device, tap 'Open app'.
6. Confirm Connection: The connection is successful, and the tracker is ready for use.

3. Operating Instructions

Locating Items

To find a tagged item, open the Google Find Hub app on your Android device. You can use the following features:

• Play Sound: Tap the 'Play Sound' button in the app to make your KIUP Air Tag emit an audible alert, helping you pinpoint its location. The built-in speaker can produce sounds up to 98dB.
• Visualize Distance (UWB Technology): Within Bluetooth range, the app can visualize the distance to your tracker using UWB technology, allowing you to see how close you are to the item.

Lost Mode

If your KIUP Air Tag is lost, you can activate 'Lost Mode' through the Google Find Hub app. This feature locks the tracker, and if found, the finder can view your contact information via NFC by tapping their phone to the tag.

Sharing Location

4. Maintenance

Battery Replacement

The KIUP Air Tag features a replaceable battery with an average life of up to 2 years. When the battery is low, you can replace it with a commercially available button battery (CR2032). Refer to the 'What's in the Box' image for tools that may be included for battery replacement.

Water Resistance

The KIUP Air Tag has an IP65 waterproof rating, providing protection against rainwater and splashes. While it is resistant to water, it is not designed for submersion.

5. Troubleshooting

• Tracker Not Connecting:
  Ensure your Android device is running Android 9 or above. Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Try restarting both your phone and the KIUP Air Tag. If issues persist, attempt the setup process again.
• Cannot Hear Alert Sound:
  Ensure your phone's volume is up. The tracker's audible beep can be soft, especially in noisy environments or if the tag is covered. Move closer to the tag and try again in a quieter location.
• Inaccurate Location:
  Location accuracy can be affected by environmental factors (e.g., thick walls, interference). Ensure your phone has a stable internet connection and GPS enabled for optimal tracking. UWB technology provides more precise distance visualization within Bluetooth range.
• Battery Draining Quickly:
  While the battery life is rated for up to 2 years, extreme temperatures or constant use of the sound alert feature may reduce it. If the battery drains significantly faster than expected, consider replacing it.
