3. Setup: Mounting the Light

Follow these steps to securely mount your Cygolite Ranger 1500 Lumen Endurance Bike Light to your bicycle handlebar:

1. Attach the Mount: Clamp the hard clamp handlebar mount around your bicycle's handlebar. Ensure it is positioned centrally and does not obstruct other controls.
2. Secure the Mount: Tighten the thumb screw on the mount until it is firmly secured in place. The mount should not rotate or slide on the handlebar.
3. Slide in the Light: Align the light with the mount and slide it all the way back until it snaps securely into place. A distinct click indicates proper attachment.

4.1. Power On/Off

• To Turn On (Night Modes): Press the back power button once. The light will turn on in the last used night mode.

4.4. Lock Mode

The light is equipped with a lock mode to prevent accidental activation during transport or storage. When the power button is pressed and the light flashes rapidly, it indicates that the lock mode is active.

• To Exit Lock Mode: Press and hold the power button for 6 seconds. Release the button when the rapid flashing stops. The light is now ready for normal use.
