2. Safety Information
Always prioritize safety when handling batteries. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in injury, property damage, or reduced battery lifespan.
- Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
- Do not expose the battery to fire or extreme heat.
- Do not immerse the battery in water or other liquids.
- Use only compatible chargers designed for LiFePO4 batteries.
- Ensure proper ventilation during charging and operation.
- Keep the battery away from children and pets.
- If the battery emits an unusual odor, heat, or changes shape, discontinue use immediately and contact support.
- In case of a BMS fault indicated by a beeping alarm, immediately deactivate the battery to prevent safety hazards.
3. Setup and Installation
Careful setup ensures optimal performance and safety.
3.1 Unboxing and Inspection
Upon receiving your battery, inspect the packaging and the battery for any signs of damage. The package should contain one 12V 100AH battery.

3.3 Bluetooth Connection (for Monitoring)
To monitor your battery status via the mobile app or LCD monitor, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. The LCD monitor connects via Bluetooth, and the mobile app can also connect wirelessly. Note that only one device (either the app or the LCD monitor) can be online for monitoring at a time.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 SOC Status Indicators
The battery features a visual LED indicator (SOC Status Indicators) that provides real-time information:
- Remaining Power: Displays current State of Charge (SOC) from 0% to 100%.
- Temperature: Indicates high (H Temp) or low (L Temp) temperature warnings.
- Faults: Alerts for short circuit (OCP), overvoltage (OV), low voltage (LV), and BMS fault.
- Charging: Indicates when the battery is charging.

4.2 Cold-Resistant Operation
This battery is designed for stable performance in cold environments. It allows discharge down to -22°F (-30°C) and retains ≥95% capacity at this temperature. The built-in smart temperature protection automatically pauses charging at -4°F (-20°C) and resumes at 5°F (-15°C). Discharge halts at -22°F (-30°C) and resumes at -4°F (-20°C) to protect the battery cells.

Low-Temp Charge Tip: Below 32°F (0°C), use a ≤5A charger to better protect the battery cells.
4.3 Powering Trolling Motors and Other Applications
The DC HOUSE 12V 100AH battery provides 1280Wh energy, 100A continuous discharge, and 230A/10s peak burst, making it suitable for 36–65 lbs trolling motors. It is also compatible with various other applications such as RVs, camping setups, solar systems, and marine electronics.

5. Maintenance
- Regularly check battery terminals for corrosion and ensure they are clean and tight.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use, ideally at a partial state of charge (around 50%).
- Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods.
- If leaving the battery unused for 5 days or longer, ensure the pack is shut down immediately due to over-current, under-voltage, and external temperature warnings.
- The internal metal fixtures are designed to reduce premature wear and extend battery life, requiring no user maintenance.
Video 5.1: Explanation of why batteries need fixtures. This video details the importance of internal metal fixtures in maintaining battery stability, safety, and extending lifespan by preventing internal expansion and deformation.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Power/Low Voltage: Check all connections for tightness and correct polarity. Ensure the battery is adequately charged.
- BMS Fault Alarm: If the SOC indicator shows a BMS fault (beeping alarm), immediately disconnect the battery from all loads and charging sources. Contact customer support for assistance.
- High/Low Temperature Warning: The battery's smart temperature protection will automatically pause charging/discharging. Allow the battery to return to its optimal operating temperature range (-22°F to 131°F / -30°C to 55°C).
- Bluetooth Connectivity Issues: Ensure only one device is attempting to connect via Bluetooth. Restart the mobile app or LCD monitor if necessary. Check your device's Bluetooth settings.
