4. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your AOC MS400 Wireless Mouse:

1. Install Battery:

   Open the battery compartment cover located on the underside of the mouse. Insert one AA battery (not included) according to the polarity indicators (+/-). Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Retrieve USB Receiver:

   The Nano USB receiver is stored inside the mouse, next to the battery compartment. Gently pull it out.

3. Connect Receiver:

   Plug the USB receiver into an available USB Type-A port on your computer (laptop, PC, or Chromebook). The mouse is plug-and-play and should be recognized automatically by your operating system.

4. Power On:

   Locate the power switch on the underside of the mouse and slide it to the "ON" position.

Your mouse is now ready for use.

Basic Functions:

• Left Click: Primary selection and activation.
• Right Click: Accesses contextual menus.
• Scroll Wheel: Scroll up or down through documents and web pages. The scroll wheel also functions as a middle click button.

Adjusting DPI:

The AOC MS400 features an adjustable DPI button located behind the scroll wheel. Press this button to cycle through three sensitivity settings:

• 800 DPI: Slower cursor movement for precise tasks.
• 1000 DPI (Default): Standard cursor speed for general use.
• 1600 DPI: Faster cursor movement for quick navigation.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mouse. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Battery Replacement: Replace the AA battery when the mouse performance degrades or stops responding.
• Storage: When not in use, especially during travel, turn off the mouse and store the USB receiver inside its dedicated compartment to prevent loss.
