3. Setup

  1. Unpacking and Placement:

    Carefully remove the bill counter from its packaging. Place the device on a stable, flat surface, ensuring adequate ventilation around the unit.

  2. Power Connection:

    Connect the provided power cable to the power inlet on the rear of the device and then to a suitable power outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the 'OFF' position before connecting.

  3. External Display Connection (Optional):

    If using an external display, connect its cable to the external display port on the rear of the bill counter.

  4. Adjusting Banknote Guides:

    Adjust the banknote size guides in the hopper to match the width of the banknotes you intend to count. This ensures proper feeding and prevents jams.

4. Operating Instructions

  1. Basic Counting:

    • Turn on the power switch located on the rear of the device. The LCD display will illuminate.
    • Place a stack of banknotes neatly into the hopper. Ensure they are aligned and not folded or crumpled.
    • The machine will automatically start counting. The count will be displayed on the LCD screen.
    • Once counting is complete, the machine will stop automatically. Remove the counted bills from the stacker.

  2. Counterfeit Detection (UV/MG):

    The device automatically detects counterfeit bills using UV (Ultraviolet) and MG (Magnetic) sensors during the counting process. If a suspicious bill is detected, the machine will stop, and an error code or alert will be displayed. Remove the suspicious bill and press 'RESTART' to continue counting.

  3. Batching Function:

    Press the 'BATCH' button to activate the batching function. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the desired batch quantity (e.g., 100 bills). The machine will count bills in batches of the preset quantity and stop after each batch. Press 'RESTART' to continue with the next batch.

  4. Adding Function:

    Press the 'ADD' button to activate the adding function. This mode accumulates the total count of multiple batches. The display will show the running total. This is useful for counting large volumes of bills in several stacks.

  5. Self-Examination Function:

    The device performs a self-examination upon startup to ensure all systems are functioning correctly. If an error occurs during operation, the machine will display an error code. Refer to the Troubleshooting section for guidance.

  6. Automatic Half-Note Detection:

    The machine is equipped with automatic half-note detection. If a half-note or double-note is detected, the machine will stop, and an alert will be issued.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your bill counter.

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the dust and debris from the sensors, rollers, and internal components using the provided cleaning brush or a soft, dry cloth. Always unplug the device before cleaning.
  • Dust Removal: Use a can of compressed air to remove dust from hard-to-reach areas.
  • Roller Inspection: Periodically inspect the rubber rollers for wear or damage. Worn rollers can affect feeding accuracy.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the device in a clean, dry environment, away from extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting
