Setup
1. Prepare the SD Card
Insert the provided 128GB SD card into the dash cam's SD card slot. Ensure the card is inserted correctly until it clicks into place. It is recommended to format the SD card within the dash cam settings before first use and periodically thereafter to maintain optimal performance.
2. Install the CPL Filter
Attach the CPL (Circular Polarizing Lens) filter to the front camera lens. This filter helps reduce glare and reflections from the windshield, improving video clarity.

This image illustrates how to attach the CPL filter to the dash cam. It also shows a comparison of video quality with and without the CPL filter, highlighting its ability to reduce windshield reflections and enhance color contrast.
3. Mount the Dash Cam
Clean the windshield area where the dash cam will be mounted. Apply a static sticker to the windshield first, then attach the 3M adhesive mount to the static sticker. Secure the main dash cam unit to the mount. Ensure the camera has a clear view of the road ahead. The front camera is 60° rotatable for optimal positioning.
4. Connect the Cameras
Connect the rear camera and the left/right interior cameras to the main dash cam unit using the provided cables. Route the cables neatly along the vehicle's interior to avoid obstruction and ensure safety.
5. Power Connection
Plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket and connect the other end to the dash cam's power input. The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when the vehicle starts.

This image illustrates the installation process, including the connection of the main dash cam unit to the car charger and the rear camera. It also shows the recommended mounting position on the windshield and highlights the 60° rotatable front camera.
Operating Instructions
1. Basic Recording
Once powered on, the dash cam automatically begins continuous loop recording. Video files are saved in segments (1, 3, or 5 minutes) to the SD card. When the SD card is full, the oldest files are overwritten by new recordings.

This image visually represents the loop recording function, where the dash cam continuously records video. It also indicates the storage capacity options (32GB, 64GB, 128GB, 256GB) and their corresponding recording durations.
2. G-Sensor and Emergency Recording
The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions. When an event is detected, the dash cam automatically locks the current video footage (typically 20 seconds before and after the event) to a protected folder on the SD card, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording.

This image illustrates the G-Sensor's function, showing a car accident scenario where the dash cam automatically locks video footage to secure critical evidence.
3. Smart Voice Control
The Driveye D7pro-cpl supports voice commands for hands-free operation. Use simple English commands to control various functions:
- "Turn on Audio": Activates audio recording.
- "Turn off Audio": Deactivates audio recording.
- "Lock the Video": Manually locks the current video file.
- "Take Photo": Captures a still image.
- "Show the Front Camera": Switches the display to the front camera view.

This image shows a driver interacting with the dash cam using voice commands, demonstrating the hands-free operation for functions such as turning audio on/off, locking videos, and taking photos.
4. Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS)
The dash cam features an AI-powered ADAS to enhance driving safety:
- Forward Collision Warning: Monitors the distance and speed of the vehicle ahead, providing an audible and visual alert if a collision risk is detected.
- Pedestrian Detection: Identifies pedestrians and children in real-time, triggering an alarm if a potential collision risk is detected.
- Lane Departure Warning: Alerts you in real-time if the vehicle drifts out of its lane without signaling.
- Front Vehicle Start Reminder: Notifies you when the vehicle in front starts moving, preventing delays at traffic lights or in traffic jams.

This image provides an overview of the AI ADAS technology, showing visual representations of the Forward Collision Warning, Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Warning, and Front Vehicle Start Reminder features in action.
5. Built-in GPS and 5GHz Wi-Fi
The integrated GPS module records your driving location, speed, and route. This data can be viewed via the companion app. The 5GHz Wi-Fi allows for faster video transfer and access to recordings on your smartphone or computer through the dedicated app.

This image shows the GPS tracking capability, displaying a map with a recorded driving route and speed information on a smartphone screen, indicating real-time playback of driving tracks.

This image highlights the 5GHz Wi-Fi and app control features, showing a smartphone connected to the dash cam app, with a comparison of 5GHz and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi speeds.
6. Night Vision
The dash cam features Super Night Vision and WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology, along with an F1.8 aperture lens and 8 IR lights, to ensure clear video recording in low-light conditions and at night.

This image showcases the Super Night Vision capabilities of the dash cam, illustrating how it captures clear details like license plates in low-light conditions, supported by WDR technology, F1.8 aperture, and 6 glass lenses.
7. 24-Hour Parking Monitoring
The dash cam offers 24-hour parking monitoring to protect your vehicle when parked. This feature requires an additional hardwire kit (sold separately) to provide continuous power. When activated, the system detects collisions and automatically begins recording.
Different parking monitoring options are available:
- Hardwire Kit 24H/7 Uninterrupted Record: Compresses parking monitoring to 1 frame per second (1fps) using intelligent algorithms, reducing storage occupation by over 90% while maintaining recording coherence. Requires a hardwire kit (e.g., B0D4J2S1N).
- OBD-5S to Install: Connects directly to the vehicle's OBD-II interface for stable power. Automatically switches to parking monitoring when the engine is off and detects collisions. Compatible with most vehicles. Requires an OBD kit (e.g., B0D4J35WZ8).
- Radar-360° 4-CH Detective: Detects vehicle or human activity within 5 meters. If activity is detected, it activates all 4 cameras to record. Remains in standby mode otherwise. Requires a radar kit (e.g., B0D767ZCS2).

Maintenance
1. SD Card Management
To ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption, format the SD card regularly (e.g., once a month) through the dash cam's settings menu. Replace the SD card if you experience frequent errors or recording issues.
2. Cleaning the Device
Gently wipe the dash cam lenses and screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the device. Ensure the mounting area on the windshield is clean for secure attachment.
Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions:
- Dash Cam Not Powering On: Ensure the car charger is securely connected to both the dash cam and the vehicle's power outlet. Check if the vehicle's power outlet is functioning.
- Recording Errors / SD Card Full: Format the SD card regularly. If errors persist, try a different high-endurance SD card (up to 256GB supported).
- Poor Video Quality / Glare: Ensure the CPL filter is correctly installed and clean. Adjust the camera angle to minimize reflections. Clean the windshield.
- Wi-Fi Connection Issues: Ensure the dash cam's Wi-Fi is enabled. Try restarting both the dash cam and your smartphone. Ensure you are within range of the dash cam's Wi-Fi signal.
- GPS Not Tracking: Ensure the dash cam has a clear view of the sky for GPS signal acquisition. Verify GPS settings are enabled in the dash cam menu.
- Voice Control Not Responding: Speak clearly and ensure the vehicle's interior noise is minimal. Check if voice control is enabled in the settings.
- Mounting Instability: Ensure the windshield surface is clean and dry before applying the static sticker and 3M adhesive. If the mount does not provide a suitable angle for your vehicle, consider alternative mounting solutions if available or contact support.
