Setup and Assembly
The FREDEES Arched Display Cabinet is designed for straightforward assembly. Follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the included Installation Package. It is recommended to have a second person assist during certain steps for ease and safety.
Key Assembly Points:
- Door Installation: The smoked black acrylic doors can be attached or left off, depending on your preference for an open or closed display. The doors feature a pneumatic design for smooth operation.
- Adjustable Shelves: Two of the shelves are adjustable. Plan your shelf placement before securing them to accommodate items of various heights.
- Anti-Tip Kit: Always install the anti-tip kit as instructed in the safety section to prevent accidental tipping.
Operating Instructions
LED Lighting System:
The cabinet features integrated LED lighting with three color modes and a smart human sensor.
- Power Connection: Connect the power cord from the LED system to a nearby electrical outlet.
- Changing Light Colors: Locate the touch-sensitive button on the side of the cabinet. Short press the button to cycle through the three available light colors: blue, white, and yellow.
- Human Sensor: The built-in human sensor automatically activates the lights when motion is detected within approximately 1 meter and turns them off after 30 seconds of inactivity, conserving energy.
Adjustable Shelves:
The two adjustable shelves allow for customized storage space. To adjust a shelf:
- Empty the shelf of all items.
- Carefully lift the shelf and remove the support pins from their current holes.
- Reinsert the support pins into the desired holes at the new height. Ensure all four pins are securely in place and level.
- Place the shelf back onto the support pins.
Maintenance
The cabinet's high-quality MDF construction and waterproof, scratch-resistant surface make it easy to maintain.
- Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
- Dusting: Regularly dust the cabinet and shelves to maintain its appearance.
- Door Care: The smoked black acrylic doors can be cleaned with a soft cloth and a mild acrylic cleaner if necessary.
Troubleshooting
- LED Lights Not Working: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into both the cabinet and the electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is functional.
- Doors Not Closing Properly: Verify that the hinges are correctly aligned and tightened. Ensure no items on the shelves are obstructing the doors.
- Cabinet Wobbles: Confirm that the cabinet is placed on a level surface. Re-check all assembly screws for tightness. Ensure the anti-tip kit is properly installed and secured to the wall.
