2. Safety Information

Your DC HOUSE lithium battery is engineered with multiple safety features to ensure reliable and secure operation. Please read and understand all safety instructions before installation and use.

2.1 Metal Case & Dual Safety Design

The battery features a durable metal case, which provides superior protection compared to traditional ABS cases. In the event of thermal runaway, the metal case effectively contains flames and high-temperature molten materials, preventing fire spread. It is also equipped with a pressure relief valve and a power safety switch for increased battery safety and reduced energy consumption.

  • Pressure Relief Valve: Automatically opens in extreme conditions (e.g., thermal runaway, short circuit) to prevent hazards.
  • Power Safety Switch:
    • Turns off output when unused for extended periods, preventing over-discharge and extending battery life.
    • Allows for safer installation and maintenance by cutting off voltage.
