2. Product Overview

  2. Attach your garden hoses or irrigation lines to the two outlet connectors (A and B) at the bottom of the timer. Ensure a secure connection to prevent leaks.

4. Operating Instructions

The timer operates in various modes, indicated on the LCD display. Use the 'NOW' button to switch between setting the current time and programming watering schedules. Use the 'A/B' button to select which outlet (A or B) you are programming or controlling.

4.1. Setting Current Time

  1. Press the 'NOW' button until the time display flashes.
  2. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the hour and minute.
  3. Press 'OK' to confirm each setting.

4.2. Programming Watering Schedules

Each outlet (A and B) can be programmed independently.

  2. Press 'A/B' to select the desired outlet (A or B) to program.
  3. Set 'START TIME': Use '+' and '-' to set the desired start time for watering. Press 'OK' to confirm.
  4. Set 'HOW LONG': Use '+' and '-' to set the duration of watering (e.g., 10 minutes, 1 hour). Press 'OK' to confirm.
  5. Set 'HOW OFTEN': Use '+' and '-' to set the frequency (e.g., every 12 hours, every 2 days). Press 'OK' to confirm.
  6. Repeat steps 2-5 for the other outlet if needed.
  7. Press 'ESC/OFF' to exit programming mode.

4.3. Manual Watering

  1. Press the 'OK' button. The display will show options for manual watering.
  2. Use 'A/B' to select the outlet (A or B) for manual watering.
  3. Use '+' and '-' to set the desired duration for manual watering.
  4. Press 'OK' to start manual watering.
  5. To stop manual watering, press 'ESC/OFF'.

4.4. Delay Function

The delay function allows you to postpone the next scheduled watering cycle.

  1. Press the 'DELAY' button.
  2. Use '+' and '-' to set the desired delay duration (e.g., 1 hour, 24 hours).
  3. Press 'OK' to confirm the delay. The timer will resume its schedule after the delay period.

4.5. Turning Off the Timer

To turn off all watering programs and stop the timer:

  • Press and hold the 'ESC/OFF' button for a few seconds until the display indicates 'OFF' or the screen goes blank.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the timer's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display to ensure continuous operation.
  • Winter Storage: Before the first frost, disconnect the timer from the faucet and hoses. Drain any remaining water and store it indoors in a dry, frost-free location. Failure to do so may result in damage due to freezing water.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Timer not turning on: Check battery installation and ensure batteries are fresh.
  • No water flow: Ensure the faucet is fully open. Check for blockages in hoses or timer outlets. Verify that the watering program is active and the timer is not in 'OFF' or 'DELAY' mode.
