The Ninja Foodi FD 101 features a unique TenderCrisp™ Technology, allowing you to pressure cook ingredients to lock in juices, then finish them with a crispy texture using the crisping lid. It includes a 5-quart cooking capacity, suitable for a 4-lb chicken or 2 lbs of French fries.

Setup

1. Remove all packaging materials, promotional labels, and tape from the unit.
2. Wash the cooking pot, Cook & Crisp™ Plate, and any other accessories in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
3. Wipe the main unit with a clean, damp cloth.
4. Place the main unit on a clean, dry, level surface.
5. Ensure the condensation collector is properly installed at the back of the main unit.

Operating Modes

The Ninja Foodi FD 101 offers 10 programmable cooking functions:

• Pressure Cook: Use the pressure lid. Select PRESSURE, set pressure level (HIGH or LOW), and adjust time.
• Steam: Use the pressure lid. Select STEAM and adjust time.
• Slow Cook: Use the pressure lid. Select SLOW COOK, set temperature (HIGH or LOW), and adjust time.
• Sous Vide: Use the pressure lid. Select SOUS VIDE, set temperature, and adjust time.
• Yogurt: Use the pressure lid. Select YOGURT and adjust time.
• Air Fry/Air Crisp: Use the crisping lid. Select AIR CRISP, set temperature, and adjust time. This function is ideal for achieving crispy results.
• Bake/Roast: Use the crisping lid. Select BAKE/ROAST, set temperature, and adjust time.
• Broil: Use the crisping lid. Select BROIL and adjust time.
• Dehydrate: Use the crisping lid. Select DEHYDRATE, set temperature, and adjust time. This function is suitable for drying fruits, vegetables, and meats.

• Sear/Sauté: Use the pressure lid (without sealing). Select SEAR/SAUTÉ and adjust temperature.
• Keep Warm: Automatically activates after some cooking functions or can be selected manually.

Cooking Tips

• Always add liquid when pressure cooking to generate steam.
• For best air frying results, do not overcrowd the Cook & Crisp™ Plate. Cook in batches if necessary.
• Shake or toss ingredients halfway through air frying for even crisping.
• Refer to the included recipe guide for specific cooking times and temperatures for various foods.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and performance of your Ninja Foodi.

• Before Cleaning: Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely.
• Cooking Pot & Accessories: The 5.1-quart nonstick cooking pot and the 4-quart Cook & Crisp™ Plate are dishwasher safe. For manual cleaning, wash with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge.
• Pressure Lid: Hand wash the pressure lid and its components (silicone gasket, anti-clog cap, pressure release valve) with warm, soapy water. Ensure all parts are clean and free of food debris.
• Crisping Lid: Wipe the crisping lid with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.
• Main Unit: Wipe the main unit with a clean, damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.
• Condensation Collector: Empty and clean the condensation collector regularly.
