- This electric fireplace insert is CSA/UL certified, ensuring compliance with safety standards for the U.S. and Canadian markets.
- The unit features a double safety protection device: an overheating protection device that automatically cuts off power when the temperature is too high, and an internal fuse.
- Always plug the fireplace directly into a wall outlet. Never use an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
- Do not operate any fireplace with a damaged cord or plug, or if the heater has malfunctioned, been dropped, or damaged in any manner.
- Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and away from the sides and rear.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.

3. Setup and Installation
This electric fireplace insert offers versatile installation options:
- Recessed Installation: The unit can be recessed into a wall or furniture opening. Ensure the opening dimensions are compatible with the fireplace insert (approximately 22.9 inches wide and 19.7 inches high for a snug fit, as shown in Figure 2.1).
- Freestanding Use: The fireplace can also be used as a freestanding unit.
Installation Steps:
- Choose a suitable location that is dry, level, and away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Ensure the location has a grounded 120V AC outlet.
- If recessing, prepare the opening in your wall or furniture to match the fireplace dimensions. Ensure there is adequate clearance for ventilation around the unit.
- Carefully place the fireplace insert into the desired position.
- Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V AC outlet.
4. Operating Instructions
Your electric fireplace insert can be operated using the included infrared remote control or the touch control panel located on the unit.

Control Panel and Remote Functions:
- Power ON/OFF: Press the power button to turn the unit on or off.
- Heater ON/OFF: Activates or deactivates the heating function. The unit provides 1500W heat (5000 BTUs) and can heat up to 400 sq. ft.
- Temperature Settings: Adjust the temperature from 64°F to 82°F. An "ON" setting is available for continuous heating.
- Flame Colors: Choose from 4 distinct flame colors to match your ambiance.
- Flame Brightness: Select from 5 levels of flame brightness.
- Flame Speed: Adjust the flame animation speed with 3 available settings.
- Timer Function: Set the operating time from 1 to 9 hours. This feature prevents the unit from running indefinitely if you forget to turn it off.

The 3D flame effect can be enjoyed independently, with or without the heating function activated.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your electric fireplace insert.
- Before Cleaning: Always ensure the unit is turned off, unplugged from the power outlet, and completely cool before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, sprays, or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the finish.
- Ventilation Openings: Periodically check and clean the air intake and exhaust vents to ensure they are free from dust and debris. Blocked vents can lead to overheating.
- Light Bulbs: The flame effect uses LED technology, which typically does not require bulb replacement. If issues arise, contact customer support.
6. Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your electric fireplace insert, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
