5. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Inefala car stereo, follow these general maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and exterior. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the display or finish.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or very cold conditions can affect performance and lifespan.
- Software Updates: Periodically check for software updates from Inefala to ensure you have the latest features and bug fixes.
- Cable Connections: Ensure all cables remain securely connected. Loose connections can lead to intermittent issues.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your car stereo, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- No Power: Double-check the power cable connections. Ensure the red and yellow wires are connected to a 12V positive source and the black wire to ground. Re-perform the pre-installation power test.
- No Sound: Verify that the AMP control wire from the original vehicle plug is connected to the ACC wire of the stereo's power cable, especially if your vehicle has a factory amplifier. Check speaker connections.
- Poor WiFi/Bluetooth Signal: Ensure the backup camera's reversing input is plugged in, even if the camera is not in use, as this can affect signal strength. Check antenna connections.
- Steering Wheel Controls Not Working: If you do not have a CANBUS box, ensure you have performed the key learning procedure in the settings. If you have a CANBUS box, verify all CANBUS connections and ensure the correct car model is selected in Settings > Factory Setup (Password: 1234) > Can Settings.
- CarPlay/Android Auto Issues: Ensure your phone is compatible and has the necessary apps/services (e.g., Google Services for Android Auto). Try connecting via both wireless and wired methods.
- Screen Unresponsive: Try restarting the unit. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
