3. Setup & Installation

3.1 Front Camera Installation

Follow these steps to install the front dash cam:

  1. Clean the windshield area where the dash cam will be mounted.
  2. Apply the electrostatic sticker to the cleaned area.
  3. Attach the heat-resistant adhesive mount to the dash cam.
  4. Stick the dash cam onto the electrostatic sticker.
  5. Connect the power cord to the dash cam and route it along the windshield edge and dashboard to the car charger. Use the wiring trim tool to tuck the cable neatly.
  6. Plug the car charger into the vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.

3.2 Rear Camera Installation

To install the rear camera (RC21):

  1. Clean the rear windshield area where the rear camera will be mounted.
  2. Apply an electrostatic sticker to the cleaned area.
  3. Attach the rear camera to the electrostatic sticker.
  4. Connect the rear camera cable to the rear camera and route it along the headliner and A-pillar to the front dash cam.
  5. Connect the rear camera cable to the designated port on the front dash cam.

3.3 Hardwire Kit (Optional for Parking Monitor)

For continuous 24/7 parking monitoring, a hardwire kit (UP06 or UP03, sold separately) is required. This connects the dash cam directly to your car's fuse box, providing constant power. Refer to the hardwire kit's specific manual for detailed installation instructions or consult a professional.
