1. Introduction and Overview

Thank you for choosing the ZEGJAW 20V 13-inch Lawn Mower and 12-inch String Trimmer Combo. This versatile set is designed to provide efficient and convenient yard maintenance. The lawn mower offers 2-in-1 functionality for bagging and mulching, while the string trimmer easily converts to a wheeled edger for precise trimming. Both tools are powered by 20V 4.0Ah batteries, ensuring cordless operation and flexibility.

2. Setup & Assembly

Lawn Mower Assembly:

  1. Handle Installation: Attach the lower handle bars to the mower body using the provided bolts and yellow knobs. Ensure they are securely tightened.
  2. Upper Handle Assembly: Connect the upper handle to the lower handle bars, aligning the holes and securing with the remaining bolts and knobs.
  3. Grass Collection Bag: Assemble the grass collection bag by attaching the fabric bag to its plastic frame. Ensure all clips are securely fastened.
  4. Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment cover on the mower. Insert a charged 20V 4.0Ah battery until it clicks into place. Insert the yellow safety key into its slot. Close the cover securely.

String Trimmer Assembly:

  1. Shaft Connection: Connect the two sections of the trimmer shaft by twisting them together until they lock securely.
  2. Guard Installation: Attach the protective guard to the trimmer head using the provided screw. Ensure it is firmly in place.
  3. Edger Wheels: Attach the edger wheels to the trimmer head as shown in the diagram, ensuring they snap into position.
  4. Battery Installation: Insert a charged 20V 4.0Ah battery into the battery slot on the trimmer handle until it clicks.

3. Operating Instructions - Lawn Mower

Starting the Lawn Mower:

  1. Ensure a charged battery and safety key are correctly installed.
  2. Press and hold the safety button on the handle.
  3. Squeeze the bail switch lever towards the handle to start the motor. Release the safety button once the motor starts.

5-Position Cutting Height Adjustment:

The mower features a single-lever, 5-position height adjustment. This allows you to easily change the cutting height from 0.98 inches to 2.95 inches to suit different grass conditions and desired lawn length.

4. Operating Instructions - String Trimmer

Starting the String Trimmer:

  1. Ensure a charged battery is correctly installed.
  2. The trimmer features a dual safety design. Press the safety button on the handle.
  3. Squeeze the trigger to start the motor. Release the safety button once the motor starts.

Converting Trimmer to Edger:

The string trimmer can be easily converted into a wheeled edger. Simply adjust the cutting head to a 90° angle and engage the edger wheels for precise lawn edges.

Automatic Line Feed (AFS):

The electric weed wacker operates with an Automatic Feed Spool (AFS) system, which automatically feeds the line as needed, ensuring continuous cutting without interruption. The combo includes eight extra spools for convenience.

5. Battery & Charging

The combo includes two 20V 4.0Ah lithium-ion batteries and one fast-charging charger. Each battery provides approximately 30 to 40 minutes of runtime when fully charged. The dual battery setup allows for extended use or provides a backup when one battery is depleted.

Charging Instructions:

  1. Connect the charger to a standard power outlet.
  2. Insert the battery into the charger. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status.
  3. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.
