1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Sojag Malta 10' x 12' Outdoor Gazebo. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, maintenance, and care of your new gazebo. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning assembly and retain this manual for future reference.
Safety Information
Always follow assembly instructions carefully. Secure the gazebo to a stable foundation to prevent tipping. Keep children and pets away from the gazebo during assembly and disassembly. Do not use the gazebo in windy conditions or during severe weather. Disassemble or secure the gazebo during strong winds or heavy snow to prevent damage or injury. Regularly inspect all components for wear and tear.

2. Setup and Assembly
Assembly of the Sojag Malta Gazebo requires two or more adults. Ensure you have all parts listed in the packing list before starting. Follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the separate assembly guide included with your product. It is recommended to assemble the gazebo on a flat, level surface.
Anchoring
For stability and safety, the gazebo must be securely anchored to a solid surface. The aluminum posts feature pre-drilled column bases for easy anchoring. Use appropriate hardware (not included) for your specific foundation type (e.g., concrete, wood deck).

3. Operating the Curtains and Mosquito Netting
The Sojag Malta Gazebo features a practical two-pole system, allowing for simultaneous use of both the polyester privacy curtains and the nylon mosquito netting. This design provides flexibility for privacy, ventilation, and protection from insects.
Using the Two-Pole System
- Privacy Curtains: The outer track is designed for the polyester privacy curtains. These can be drawn closed for full privacy or tied back to the posts when not needed.
- Mosquito Netting: The inner track holds the nylon mosquito netting. This can be zipped closed to create an enclosed space, protecting against insects while allowing airflow, or tied back when not in use.
- Both sets of coverings can be operated independently or together, offering versatile protection.

4. Maintenance and Care
Regular maintenance will extend the life and appearance of your Sojag Malta Gazebo.
Frame Care
The aluminum frame is powder-coated with AkzoNobel's Interpon technology for superior scratch and corrosion resistance. Clean the frame periodically with a mild soap and water solution. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.

Fabric Cover Care
The polyester roof and curtains are water-resistant and wrinkle-resistant. Clean fabric components with a mild soap and water solution. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Allow fabric to air dry completely before storing to prevent mildew. Remove fabric components during strong winds or heavy snow to prevent damage.

5. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your gazebo.
- Gazebo feels unstable: Ensure all frame connections are tightened and the gazebo is securely anchored to the ground using appropriate hardware. Verify the ground surface is level.
- Water pooling on the roof: Check that the roof fabric is properly tensioned and installed according to the assembly instructions. Ensure no debris is accumulating on the roof.
- Curtains/Netting not sliding smoothly: Inspect the tracks for any obstructions or damage. Clean the tracks and ensure the curtain/netting hooks are properly seated.
- Fabric damage: Small tears can often be repaired with fabric repair kits. For significant damage, contact customer support for replacement parts.
- Rust spots on frame: While the frame is rustproof, prolonged exposure to harsh conditions can sometimes lead to minor surface corrosion. Clean affected areas and apply a touch-up paint if necessary.
