1. Safety Information

3. Setup

Before using the air ratchet wrench, ensure proper setup for safe and efficient operation.

  1. Connect Air Supply: Attach the 1/4" European, American, or Japanese adapter (included) to the air inlet of the wrench. Connect your air hose from the compressor to this adapter. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent air leaks.
  2. Air Pressure: Set your air compressor to the recommended operating pressure for the tool. Refer to the specifications section for details.
  3. Lubrication: Before initial use and regularly thereafter, apply a few drops of pneumatic tool oil into the air inlet. This is crucial for prolonging the tool's lifespan and ensuring smooth operation.

  5. Attach Socket: Select the appropriate 3/8" drive socket for your fastener and firmly attach it to the square drive of the wrench.

4. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for effective use of your air ratchet wrench.

  1. Select Direction: Use the F/R (Forward/Reverse) knob on the head of the wrench to select the desired direction of rotation.
    • Turn the knob to 'F' (Forward) to tighten bolts.
    • Turn the knob to 'R' (Reverse) to loosen or unscrew bolts.

  3. Position the Tool: Place the socket firmly onto the fastener.
  4. Engage the Trigger: Press the trigger to activate the wrench. The tool will deliver up to 88NM of torque and 160 RPM speed.
  5. Apply Torque: Allow the tool to operate until the fastener is tightened or loosened as required. For final tightening or breaking loose stubborn fasteners, manual force can be applied to the wrench handle.
  6. Release Trigger: Release the trigger to stop the tool.
  7. Disconnect Air: Always disconnect the air supply when not in use or when changing sockets.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your air ratchet wrench.

  • Lubrication: Apply a few drops of pneumatic tool oil into the air inlet before each use or after every hour of continuous operation. This lubricates internal components and prevents wear.
  • Air Supply: Ensure your air compressor's air filter is clean and the air supply is free of moisture. Water in the air line can damage the tool.
  • Cleaning: Keep the tool clean and free from debris. Wipe down the aluminum body with a clean cloth. Do not use harsh solvents.
  • Storage: Store the tool in a dry, clean environment when not in use. Disconnect it from the air supply.
