Figure 6.1: Troubleshooting Scrolling and Page Turning Issues
6.1 Why Can't I Scroll or Turn Pages?
The CheerTok Air2 touchpad features divided zones for precision control. If you are only moving the cursor, you are likely using the central zone.
- Central Zone (approx. 70% of pad): For cursor movement and clicking.
- Edge Zones (Top/Bottom/Side 15% edges): For scrolling and page turns.
Solution:
- Ensure Connection: Confirm your device is successfully paired via Bluetooth.
- Locate the Edge: Place your finger on the outermost edge of the touchpad (e.g., the right side edge).
- Gesture: Slide your finger up or down along this edge. You should now see the page scroll or turn instantly.
6.2 Device Not Responding
- Check if the remote is powered on.
- Ensure the battery is charged.
- Verify Bluetooth connection on your device. Try re-pairing if necessary.
- Restart both the CheerTok Air2 and your connected device.
6.3 Cursor Movement is Erratic
- Ensure the touchpad surface is clean and free of debris.
- Check for any obstructions between the remote and the connected device.
- Interference from other wireless devices might affect performance. Try moving closer to your device or away from other wireless signals.
