1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

To ensure safe operation and prevent damage, please observe the following precautions:

  • Do not expose the monitor to rain, moisture, or extreme temperatures.
  • Avoid placing the monitor near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
  • Use only the power adapter and cables supplied by the manufacturer.
  • Do not block ventilation openings.
  • Disconnect the power cable from the outlet if the monitor will not be used for an extended period.

4. Setup

4.1 Assembling the Stand

  1. Carefully remove the monitor from its packaging, keeping the screen protected.
  2. Attach the stand neck to the monitor panel using the provided screws.
  3. Attach the stand base to the stand neck, securing it with the designated screw.
  4. Place the assembled monitor on a stable, flat surface.

4.2 Connecting Cables

Connect the necessary cables to the monitor and your computer:

  • Power Cable: Connect the power adapter to the monitor's power input, then plug the power cable into a wall outlet.
  • Display Cable:
    • For optimal performance, connect the DisplayPort cable from your computer's graphics card to the monitor's DisplayPort input.
    • Alternatively, connect the HDMI cable from your computer to the monitor's HDMI input.
  • USB Cables (Optional): If your monitor has USB ports, connect a USB upstream cable from your computer to the monitor to enable the monitor's USB hub.

4.3 Initial Power On

Press the power button located on the monitor to turn it on. The monitor should automatically detect the input signal. If no image appears, ensure all cables are securely connected and the correct input source is selected in your computer's display settings.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu

The OSD menu allows you to adjust various monitor settings. Use the buttons located on the monitor (typically on the back or bottom right) to navigate and select options.

  • Power Button: Turns the monitor on/off.
  • Menu Button: Opens the OSD menu.
  • Navigation Buttons: Used to move through menu options (Up/Down, Left/Right).
  • Select/Enter Button: Confirms a selection.
  • Exit Button: Closes the OSD menu or goes back to the previous level.

5.2 Adjusting Display Settings

Common settings adjustable via the OSD menu include:

5.3 Special Features

  • FreeSync: Enable FreeSync in the OSD menu and your graphics card settings to synchronize the monitor's refresh rate with your GPU's frame rate, reducing screen tearing and stuttering.
  • DisplayHDR 400: Activate HDR mode in the OSD menu and your operating system's display settings for enhanced contrast and color depth in compatible content.

  • PIP/PBP (Picture-in-Picture/Picture-by-Picture): These functions allow you to display content from two different input sources simultaneously. Configure these modes through the OSD menu.
