1. Introduction

The Sordin Supreme X2 active modular earmuffs are designed to provide effective hearing protection while enhancing situational awareness in hunting and shooting environments. The robust construction ensures durability, and the SordinFLEX system allows for tool-free customization.

2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the Sordin Supreme X2 earmuffs and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect the contents for any damage. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.

2.2 Battery Installation

The Sordin Supreme X2 earmuffs require batteries for operation. Locate the battery compartment on one of the ear cups. Open the compartment cover, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators, and securely close the cover.

2.3 Fitting the Earmuffs

Adjust the neckband to ensure a snug yet comfortable fit. The gel ear pads are designed to create a closed seal around your ears, which is crucial for optimal hearing protection. Ensure no hair or other objects interfere with the seal between the ear pads and your head.

A short tone or voice feedback will confirm each change.

  • Hunting Mode: Designed for sharper awareness of game sounds.
  • Shooter Mode: Optimized for range training, balancing protection and communication.
  • Focus Mode: Enhances specific sounds while reducing background noise.
  • Communication Mode: Prioritizes clear speech in noisy environments.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

Regularly clean the earmuffs with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the microphones and battery compartment remain free of debris and moisture.

4.2 Gel Ear Pads

The gel ear pads are crucial for comfort and noise reduction. Inspect them periodically for wear and tear. If the pads become damaged or lose their sealing capability, they should be replaced to maintain optimal performance.
