3. Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Choose a Nozzle: Select one of the 8 provided spray nozzles according to your desired water pattern and height. Attach it firmly to the pump outlet.
  3. Place in Water: Submerge the pump completely in water. Ensure the solar panel is facing upwards and exposed to direct sunlight. The pump will start automatically within 3 seconds once sufficient sunlight is detected.
  4. Install Fixed Rods (Optional): To prevent the fountain from drifting or spraying water outside the container, insert the four fixed rods into the designated slots on the side of the pump. These rods help center the fountain.

  • Direct Sunlight: When exposed to direct sunlight, the solar panel powers the pump directly, and any excess energy charges the internal 2000mAh battery. The spray height can reach 40-60 cm.
  • Cloudy Days/Low Light: The integrated 2000mAh battery allows the fountain to operate for 5-6 hours without direct sunlight after a full charge. On cloudy days, the spray height will be reduced to 10-20 cm.
  • Nozzle Selection: Experiment with the 8 different nozzles to achieve various water patterns and spray heights.

5. Maintenance

Regular cleaning is essential to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your solar fountain pump.

  1. Clean the Filter Sponge: The pump base contains an integrated filter sponge to block dirt, dust, and leaves. Periodically remove the filter sponge and clean it with water. Replace it if heavily soiled or damaged (3 additional sponges are included).
  2. Clean the Rotor Shaft: Disassemble the pump to access the rotor shaft. Clean any debris or buildup from the rotor and its housing.
  3. Maintain Water Level: Ensure there is always enough water in your bird bath or pond to keep the pump fully submerged. Running dry can damage the pump.
