2. Safety Information
WARNING: Risk of Fire, Explosion, or Burns.
- DO NOT short circuit the battery terminals.
- DO NOT reverse connections from charger to battery.
- DO NOT disassemble, modify, or repair the battery.
- DO NOT throw into fire or incinerate.
- DO NOT heat above 70°C (158°F).
- Use only compatible LiFePO4 chargers.
- Ensure proper ventilation during charging and discharging.
- This battery is designed for energy storage applications only. It is NOT suitable for engine cranking or golf cart use.

- Scalable Power: Supports connecting up to 4 batteries in series or parallel (4S4P max) for custom power systems up to 400Ah capacity, 51.2V voltage, 20.48 kWh energy, and 20.48 kW max load power.

4. Setup & Installation
4.1 Unboxing Contents:
Your package includes:
- 1x LIPULS 12.8V 100Ah LiFePO4 Battery
- 2x M8 Terminals

4.2 Physical Installation:
The battery is designed to fit standard BCI Group 24, Group 27, and Group 31 battery compartments. Its compact size and integrated carry strap facilitate easy installation and removal.

4.3 Terminal Connections:
Use the provided M8 terminals to connect your battery. Ensure connections are secure and correct polarity is observed (red for positive, black for negative) to prevent damage.
4.4 Series and Parallel Connections:
This battery supports flexible configurations:
- Parallel Connection: Connect up to 4 batteries in parallel to increase total capacity (e.g., 4x 100Ah = 400Ah at 12.8V).
- Series Connection: Connect up to 4 batteries in series to increase total voltage (e.g., 4x 12.8V = 51.2V at 100Ah).
- Maximum Configuration: Up to 4S4P (16 batteries) for a maximum of 20.48 kWh energy and 20.48 kW load power.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Charging:
- Recommended Charge Current: 0.2C (20 Amps) for optimal battery health and longevity.
- Compatible Chargers: Use a 14.6V LiFePO4 charger.
- Charging Methods: The battery can be recharged via a 14.6V LiFePO4 charger, solar panels (≥500W) with an MPPT controller, or a generator with a 20A AC-DC charger.

5.2 Discharging:
- Continuous Discharge Current: The 100A BMS allows for a continuous discharge current of up to 100 Amps.
- Short Bursts: The battery can handle short bursts of higher current for demanding applications.
5.3 Bluetooth Monitoring:
Utilize the dedicated smartphone app to monitor your battery's status in real-time. The app provides information on:
- State of Charge (SOC) percentage
- Total voltage and individual cell voltages
- Current draw and power output
- Battery temperature
- Cell balancing status

6. Maintenance
- Long-Term Storage: For optimal battery life, recharge the battery every 6 months if unused.
- Cycle Life: The battery is designed for extensive cycling:
- 4,000 cycles at 100% DOD
- 8,000+ cycles at 80% DOD
- 15,000+ cycles at 60% DOD
- Temperature Management: The integrated BMS protects the battery from extreme temperatures. Low-temperature charging cutoff prevents damage when charging in cold conditions.

7. Troubleshooting
The integrated BMS provides multiple layers of protection. If the battery appears unresponsive or stops providing power, check the following:
- Over-Discharge Protection: If the battery voltage drops too low, the BMS will shut off output to prevent damage. Recharge the battery to reactivate.
- Overcharge Protection: The BMS will stop charging once the battery reaches full capacity.
- Overcurrent/Short Circuit Protection: The BMS will disconnect the battery if an overcurrent or short circuit event occurs. Disconnect the load and reconnect to reset.
- Temperature Protection: The BMS will prevent charging in temperatures below 0°C (32°F) and stop discharge if temperatures exceed safe limits. Allow the battery to return to a safe operating temperature.
- Cell Imbalance: The Bluetooth app can help identify if individual cells are out of balance. The BMS actively balances cells during charging.
