3. Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your Okeysen Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair:

1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the star base. Push firmly until they click into place.
2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the star base.
3. Attach Mechanism Plate to Seat: Align the mechanism plate with the screw holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat. Secure with screws using the provided Allen wrench.
4. Attach Armrests to Seat: Secure the armrests to the sides of the seat cushion using the designated screws. Do not fully tighten yet.
5. Attach Backrest to Seat/Armrests: Align the backrest with the armrests and the seat. Secure the backrest to the armrests and seat using the remaining screws. Once all screws are in place, tighten all armrest and backrest screws evenly.
6. Attach Headrest: Slide the headrest into the designated slot at the top of the backrest. Adjust to your preferred height.
7. Connect Seat to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring it is centered. The chair will settle onto the gas lift when you sit on it.

Chair Height Adjustment

• To raise the seat: While standing, pull the lever located on the right side of the seat upwards. Release the lever when the desired height is reached.
• To lower the seat: While seated, pull the lever located on the right side of the seat upwards. Release the lever when the desired height is reached.

Tilt and Tension Control

• Tilt Lock/Unlock: Pull the same lever (used for height adjustment) outwards to unlock the tilt function, allowing the chair to recline. Push the lever inwards to lock the chair in an upright position.
• Tilt Tension: Rotate the round knob located underneath the seat, at the front of the mechanism. Turn clockwise to increase tilt tension (making it harder to recline) or counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).

Headrest Adjustment

• The 2D adjustable headrest can be moved up and down, and tilted forward and backward. Gently push or pull the headrest to adjust its height and angle to support your neck and head comfortably.

• The backrest is designed with an S-shape to naturally contour to the spine, providing integrated lumbar support. This feature is fixed and does not require manual adjustment.
