1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your Omberr GHA70 Electric Garage Heater. This 240V, 9000 Watt heater features advanced graphene heating elements, a 9-hour timer, overheat protection, and remote control for indoor use. Please read all instructions carefully before installation and use, and retain this manual for future reference.

2. Safety Information

WARNING: Risk of Fire, Electric Shock, or Injury to Persons.

  • Read all instructions before using this heater.
  • This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains, at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
  • Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
  • Always unplug the heater when not in use.
  • Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped, or damaged in any manner. Return heater to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
  • Do not use outdoors. This heater is intended for indoor use only.
  • This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
  • Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
  • To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored.
  • Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
  • This heater must be hardwired by a qualified electrician in accordance with all local and national electrical codes.
  • Ensure the electrical supply matches the heater's requirements (240V, 29.2 Amps).

5. Setup and Installation

IMPORTANT: This heater requires hardwired installation by a qualified electrician in compliance with all local and national electrical codes.

5.1 Electrical Requirements

  • Voltage: 240 Volts
  • Amperage: 29.2 Amps
  • A dedicated circuit breaker of appropriate rating (e.g., 30A or higher) is required.
  • Ensure proper grounding.

5.2 Mounting Instructions

The Omberr GHA70 heater is designed for ceiling mounting. It offers adjustable height and angle options.

  1. Choose Location: Select a suitable ceiling location, ensuring adequate clearance from walls, ceilings, and combustible materials (minimum 3 feet from front, sides, and rear). The heater is for indoor use only.
  2. Secure Brackets: Use the provided mounting hardware to securely attach the mounting brackets to a sturdy ceiling joist or structural support. Ensure the brackets are level and spaced correctly for the heater unit.
  3. Attach Heater: Carefully lift the heater unit and attach it to the mounted brackets. Secure with the appropriate fasteners.
  4. Adjust Height and Angle: The mounting system allows for two adjustable height levels and four angle options (0–40.5°). Adjust to your desired position for optimal heat distribution.
  5. Connect Wiring: Have a qualified electrician hardwire the heater to your 240V electrical supply, following all safety codes.

6. Operating Instructions

The heater can be controlled using the integrated control panel or the included remote control.

6.1 Remote Control Functions

The remote control provides convenient access to all heater functions:

  • POWER Button: Turns the heater ON or OFF.
  • TIMER Button: Activates and adjusts the timer function (0.5 to 9 hours). Press repeatedly to cycle through desired time settings.
  • °C/°F Switch Button: Toggles the temperature display between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
  • UP (+) Button: Increases the desired temperature or timer duration.
  • DOWN (-) Button: Decreases the desired temperature or timer duration.

6.2 Setting Temperature

  1. Turn the heater ON using the POWER button.
  2. Use the UP (+) or DOWN (-) buttons to set your desired temperature between 40–90°F (4–35°C). The display will show the set temperature.
  3. The heater will automatically cycle ON and OFF to maintain the set temperature.

6.3 Setting Timer

  1. With the heater ON, press the TIMER button.
  2. The display will show a timer setting. Use the UP (+) or DOWN (-) buttons to adjust the timer duration from 0.5 to 9 hours.
  3. The heater will operate for the set duration and then automatically turn OFF.

6.4 Adjusting Louvers

The heater features adjustable louvers (0–130°) to direct airflow. Manually adjust the louvers to guide the warm air to your desired area.

7. Maintenance

WARNING: Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before performing any maintenance or cleaning.

7.1 Cleaning

  • Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the finish.
  • Ensure no water or liquids enter the interior of the heater.
  • Periodically check the air intake and exhaust openings for dust or debris accumulation. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently remove any blockages.

7.2 Storage

If storing the heater for an extended period, clean it thoroughly and store it in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.

8. Troubleshooting
