3. Setup

Initial Charging:

Before first use, fully charge the headlight. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the headlight and to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The charging indicator light will show charging status (refer to Operating Instructions for details).

Mounting the Headlight:

The ROCKBROS JHL1200 features a tool-free handlebar mount for easy installation.

1. Choose an appropriate position on your handlebar.
2. Thread the strap of the mounting bracket around the handlebar and rotate to tighten it securely.
3. Align the light base with the slider on the bracket and push it in until you hear a "click" sound. This indicates the installation is complete and the anti-drop function is engaged.
4. To remove the light, pull the push button downward and slide the light off the bracket.

4. Operating Instructions

Power On/Off:

• To turn on the headlight, press and hold the power button for approximately 1-2 seconds.
• To turn off the headlight, press and hold the power button again for approximately 1-2 seconds.

Mode Selection:

Once the headlight is on, short press the power button to cycle through the available brightness modes:

• High: 1200 Lumens (approx. 3 hours 20 minutes runtime)
• Mid: 500 Lumens (approx. 4 hours 20 minutes runtime)
• Standard: 330 Lumens (approx. 5 hours 20 minutes runtime)
• Low/Eco: 150 Lumens (approx. 8 hours runtime)

Lock Mode:

The anti-misoperation lock mode prevents accidental activation, conserving battery and avoiding unwanted light exposure during transport or storage.

• To Enable Lock: With the light off, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds. The red light will flash 3 times to confirm lock activation.
• To Disable Lock: Quickly press the power button 5 times. The green light will flash 3 times to confirm lock deactivation.

Battery Indicator:

The power button also serves as a battery indicator. Refer to the light's behavior for battery status (e.g., green for high, yellow for medium, red for low, flashing red for critical).

Cleaning:

Storage:

• Light not turning on:

  • Check if the lock mode is enabled (green light flashes 3 times when disabling).

• Light not charging:
  • Verify the USB-C cable is properly connected to both the headlight and the power source.

• Light is dim or runtime is short:

• Headlight is loose on handlebars:
