Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your Chipolino Glory Travel Cot:

1. Unpack the Cot: Remove the travel cot from its carry bag and unfasten any securing straps.
2. Extend the Frame: Stand the cot upright. Pull the two short sides upwards until they lock into place. Then, pull the two long sides upwards until they lock. You should hear an audible 'click' for each side. If a side does not lock, gently push the center of the base down slightly and try again.
3. Lock the Base: Push the center of the cot base downwards firmly until it lies flat and is fully locked.
4. Install the Mattress: Place the foldable mattress inside the cot. For newborns, use the second level insert. Secure the mattress to the cot base using the provided fasteners.

Operating Instructions

Adjusting Mattress Levels

The Chipolino Glory Travel Cot features two mattress levels:

• Upper Level: For newborns and infants who cannot push up on their hands and knees. This level provides easier access to your baby. To use, ensure the second layer insert is securely attached to the cot frame.
• Lower Level: For older infants and toddlers who can sit up, crawl, or pull themselves to a standing position. Always remove the upper level insert when your child reaches this developmental stage to prevent them from climbing out.

Using the Side Entrance

The cot includes a zippered side entrance for easy access for older children. Unzip the entrance completely to allow your child to enter or exit independently. Always ensure the zipper is fully closed when the child is sleeping or unattended.

Co-Sleeping Mode

To use the cot as a bedside sleeper:

1. Lower one side of the cot by releasing the designated locking mechanisms.
2. Position the cot next to the adult bed, ensuring there are no gaps between the cot and the bed.
3. Secure the cot to the adult bed using the provided safety straps. Follow the instructions on the straps for proper attachment.
4. Ensure the cot is stable and cannot move away from the adult bed.

Mobility

The travel cot is equipped with two wheels with brakes for easy movement. To move the cot, lift the end without wheels slightly and roll it to the desired location. To secure the cot, engage the brakes on both wheels.

Folding and Storage

To fold the Chipolino Glory Travel Cot for transport or storage:

1. Remove Mattress: Take out the mattress and any accessories from the cot.
2. Release Base: Pull the strap in the center of the cot base upwards to release the locking mechanism.
3. Release Sides: Locate the release buttons on the middle of each of the four top rails. Press these buttons and gently push the rails downwards to unlock them. Start with the short sides, then the long sides.
4. Fold Cot: Bring all four corners towards the center, allowing the cot to collapse into a compact shape.
5. Secure and Store: Wrap the folded mattress around the collapsed cot and secure it with the attached straps. Place the entire unit into the carry bag for convenient transport and storage.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and hygiene of your travel cot:

• Fabric Cleaning: The fabric parts of the cot can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners. Allow to air dry completely.
• Frame Cleaning: Wipe the metal and plastic parts of the frame with a damp cloth.
• Mattress Care: The foldable mattress can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Ensure it is completely dry before placing it back in the cot or storing it.

• Cot Will Not Fold: Ensure the center of the base is pulled up completely before attempting to unlock the side rails. All four side rails must be unlocked for the cot to fold properly.
• Wheels Not Rolling Smoothly: Check for any debris or hair caught in the wheel mechanisms. Clean as necessary. Ensure brakes are disengaged.
• Cot Feels Unstable: Double-check that all four side rails and the base are fully locked into position. If the issue persists, discontinue use and contact customer support.
