5. Operating Instructions

  • Opening/Closing Front Doors: To open, slide the top and bottom latches on each door. Swing the doors outwards. To close, swing the doors inwards and slide the latches into place to secure.
  • Using Top Access Door: To open, unlatch the top door mechanism and lift the panel upwards. This allows for direct interaction with your pet or for easier cleaning. Securely latch the top door when not in use.
  • Feeding with Rotating Bowls: To refill food or water, pull the small lever on the bowl holder to rotate the bowl outwards. Fill the bowl, then rotate it back into the crate until it locks into position. The bowls can be adjusted to different heights by repositioning their hanging hooks.
  • Moving the Crate: To move the crate, unlock all four wheels by flipping their respective levers. Once moved to the desired location, lock the wheels to prevent accidental movement.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Tray: The leak-proof plastic tray can be easily slid out from beneath the crate for cleaning. Wash with mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly before reinserting.
  • Cleaning the Crate: Wipe down the metal bars and panels with a damp cloth and mild, pet-safe cleaner as needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
  • Inspecting Locks and Wheels: Periodically check all door latches and wheel locking mechanisms to ensure they are functioning correctly and securely.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Doors not closing securely: Ensure all latches are properly aligned with their receiving slots. Check for any obstructions or bent components.
  • Wheels not locking: Verify that the locking levers on each wheel are fully engaged. Clean any debris from the wheel mechanisms if necessary.
  • Crate feels unstable: Recheck all assembly screws to ensure they are tightened. Ensure the crate is on a flat, level surface.
