1. Product Overview
This Teyleten Robot module is a 2S BMS (Battery Management System) 15W boost charging module designed for 3.7V lithium batteries. It supports both 2-cell and 3-cell configurations and features fast charging capabilities with a Type-C input. The module includes built-in protections and adjustable settings for optimal battery management.
Key Features:
- Supports QC fast charging via Type-C.
- 15W synchronous switch boost charging with 94% efficiency.
- Configurable for 2-cell or 3-cell lithium battery charging.
- 2-cell balanced charging function.
- Adjustable charging current.
- Input overvoltage and undervoltage protection.
- Adjustable charging timeout protection.
- Output overcurrent, overvoltage, and short-circuit protection.

2. Setup and Configuration
2.1 Input Options
- Type-C Port: Connect a QC fast-charging power source. The module automatically adjusts the charging voltage for improved efficiency.
- Solder Wire Input (VIN/GND): For this method, the input voltage must be lower than the battery voltage (battery voltage × number of series cells). If the input voltage is higher, the module will only operate in boost mode.
2.2 Output Configuration (2-Series / 3-Series)
The module supports 2-series and 3-series battery configurations. Batteries connected to this module require an external protection board.
- Default: The module is set for 2-cell operation by default.
- Switching to 3-Series: To change from the default 2-series to 3-series, short the designated shorting points on the board and remove the adjacent resistor. Refer to the board markings for precise locations.

2.3 2-Cell Balanced Charging
The balancing function is available specifically for 2-series configurations. Connect the BM pin between the two series batteries. Note that balancing speed is limited; ensure consistent parameters between series batteries when utilizing this feature.
2.4 Current Settings
The charging current can be adjusted by modifying resistor values. The default values are 100K (0.9A) and 180K (0.5A). Resistors can be removed or replaced as needed. The current calculation formula is: Current = 90000 / Resistance Value.
2.5 Battery Charge Cut-off Voltage
The default charge cut-off voltage is 4.2V per cell, which is standard for most lithium batteries and typically requires no adjustment. To modify this, refer to the RVSET setting table (not provided in this manual, consult product documentation) and adjust the board's VSET resistor.
2.6 Charge Timeout Duration
The default setting is no timeout. The timeout duration can be set via the ROT resistor value:
- 68K: 4 hours
- 120K: 12 hours
- No resistor: 24 hours
2.7 NTC Integration
NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) integration is not used normally. If required, change the NTC resistor value to 82K. Connect a 100K thermistor (B=4100) between the NTC solder point and the adjacent GND point.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 LED Indicators
The module features LED indicators to display its operational status:
- Red LED: Steady on during normal operation.
- Blue LED: Illuminates when charging is in progress.
- Blue LED: Turns off when the battery is fully charged.
- Blue LED: Flashes when an anomaly or error is detected.
4. Maintenance
This Teyleten Robot charging module requires no routine user maintenance. Keep the module clean and dry. Avoid exposure to moisture, extreme temperatures, or corrosive environments. Ensure proper ventilation during operation.
5. Troubleshooting
If the Blue LED flashes, it indicates that an anomaly or error has been detected. In such cases, check the following:
- Verify all battery connections (B+, BM, B-).
- Ensure the input power source is stable and within the specified voltage range.
- Check for any short circuits or incorrect wiring.
- Confirm that the connected batteries have a protection board.
- If using the NTC feature, ensure the thermistor is correctly connected and functioning.
If the issue persists, discontinue use and contact customer support.
