5. Setup

5.1 Inserting the Battery

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the camera.

5.2 Inserting the SD Card

5.4 Initial Power On and Settings

  1. Press and hold the Power button to turn on the camera.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts to set the language, date, and time.

6. Operating the Camera

6.1 Basic Photo Mode

  1. Turn on the camera. It will usually default to Photo Mode. If not, press the M (Mode) button until the photo icon appears on the screen.
  2. Frame your shot using the main screen or the front screen for selfies.
  3. Press the Shutter/OK button to take a picture. The camera features autofocus for clear images.
