1. Product Overview
The RD600 EMF Meter is a compact, handheld device designed for the simultaneous detection of electric and magnetic field radiation. It features a clear LCD graphic display, sound and light alarm functions, and a simple one-button operation for ease of use. This device helps assess the safety level of electromagnetic radiation in various environments.
Key features include:
- Dual-use functionality for electric and magnetic field detection.
- Automatic sound and light alarm when radiation exceeds safety thresholds.
- LCD graphic display showing radiation value trends and safety evaluations.
- Built-in electromagnetic radiation sensor for accurate readings.
2. Safety Information
Please read and understand all safety instructions before operating the RD600 EMF Meter. Failure to follow these instructions may result in inaccurate readings or damage to the device.
- Do not attempt to open or modify the device. Internal components are not user-serviceable.
- Keep the device away from water and excessive moisture.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
- This device is for informational purposes and should not be used as a substitute for professional safety assessments or medical advice.

3.2 Powering On/Off
Press and hold the power button located on the front of the device to turn it on or off.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Taking Measurements
Once powered on, the RD600 will automatically begin detecting electric and magnetic fields. The LCD screen will display the current readings.
- Hold the device firmly and point it towards the area or object you wish to measure.
- The display will show the electric field (E) in V/m and the magnetic field (H) in uT/mG.
- Move the device slowly around the area to identify sources of radiation.

4.2 Interpreting Readings and Alarms
The RD600 provides a visual and audible indication of radiation levels:
- LCD Display: The screen shows numerical values for electric and magnetic fields. It also includes a graphic display of radiation value trends and an evaluation (e.g., "Harmful" or "Safe") to indicate the current radiation level relative to safety thresholds.
- Sound and Light Alarm: If the detected radiation levels exceed predefined safety values, the device will emit an audible alarm and a visual light indicator will activate. This serves as an immediate warning.
Refer to local and international guidelines for specific safe exposure limits to electromagnetic fields.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
To clean the device, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the device in water.
5.2 Storage
Store the RD600 in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use. If storing for extended periods, ensure the battery is partially charged to prolong its lifespan.
6. Troubleshooting
- Device does not power on: Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged. Connect the device to a power source using the Type-C cable and try again.
- No readings displayed: Check if the device is powered on. Ensure there are potential EMF sources in the vicinity. If the issue persists, the device may require service.
- Alarm sounds continuously: This indicates high levels of electromagnetic radiation. Move away from the source or investigate the cause of the high readings.
- Inaccurate readings: Ensure no other electronic devices are interfering with the measurement. Calibrate the device if a calibration option is available (refer to advanced settings if applicable, though not detailed in this manual).
