4. Setup and Connection
4.1 Initial PS5 System Settings
Before connecting the paddles, ensure your PS5 controller communication method is set to "Use USB Cable".
- Navigate to Settings on your PS5 console.
- Select Accessibility.
- Go to Controller (General).
- Choose Communication Method.
- Select "Use USB Cable".
Failure to set this option will prevent the paddles from functioning correctly.
4.2 Connecting the Paddles
- Ensure your PS5 controller is turned off.
- Carefully insert the GMVOX Back Paddles onto your PS5 controller. Ensure it is securely attached.
- Connect the provided 3M USB data cable to the paddles and then to your PS5 console or PC.
- Press the PS button on your controller to turn it on. The indicator light on the paddles should be steady blue, confirming a successful connection.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Programmable Back Buttons (Macro Function)
The GMVOX Back Paddles feature 4 programmable back buttons (M1, M2, M3, M4), each capable of storing up to 25 key combinations. This allows for complex actions to be executed with a single press.
- Enter Programming Mode: Press the "Macro" button on the paddles. The indicator light will blink slowly.
- Select Buttons to Map: Press the desired face buttons (e.g., X, O, Square, Triangle) in the sequence you want to map.
- Assign to Back Button: Press the specific back paddle (M1, M2, M3, or M4) you wish to assign the macro to. The indicator light will turn steady blue, confirming successful programming.

5.2 Turbo Rapid Fire Function
The Turbo function allows for rapid, repeated presses of a button. By default, it is set to 8 shots per second.
- Activate Semi-Auto Turbo: Press the "Turbo" button and the desired trigger/face button simultaneously for the first time. The indicator light will blink. Hold the trigger/face button to activate semi-auto turbo.
- Activate Fully-Auto Turbo: Press the "Turbo" button and the desired trigger/face button simultaneously for the second time. The indicator light will blink. The button will now fire automatically without needing to be held.
- Cancel Turbo: Press the "Turbo" button and the desired trigger/face button simultaneously for the third time. The indicator light will stop blinking, and the turbo function will be deactivated for that button.

5.3 Key Swap Function
The Key Swap function allows you to exchange the functions of two face buttons.
- Enter Key Swap Mode: Press the "Key Swap" button on the paddles. The indicator light will blink slowly.
- Select Buttons to Swap: Press the first button you want to swap, then press the second button you want to swap.
- Exit Key Swap Mode: Press the "Key Swap" button again to exit. The indicator light will turn steady blue, confirming the swap.

5.4 Microphone Function
The latest version of the GMVOX Back Paddles supports microphone input, allowing you to connect a headset directly to the controller for in-game communication.
- Connect your headset's 3.5mm jack into the audio port on your PS5 controller.
- Ensure the PS5 system settings for audio input are correctly configured to use the headset microphone.
