SIXWIN 4-Channel 1080p Dash Cam

SIXWIN 4-Channel 1080p Dash Cam User Manual

1. Product Overview

The SIXWIN 4-Channel Dash Cam is designed to provide comprehensive surveillance for your vehicle. Featuring a 3-inch display, it simultaneously records from four cameras: a 1080P front camera and three 480P cameras for interior, rear, and side views. This setup ensures a 360-degree panoramic view, minimizing blind spots and capturing critical details for accident clarification or parking incidents.

Equipped with 8 infrared LEDs, the interior camera delivers clear recordings even in low-light conditions, making it suitable for ride-sharing services. Key features include automatic loop recording, G-sensor activated accident protection, and intelligent parking monitoring (requires hardwire kit) for 24/7 surveillance without draining your car battery. The system also offers a reversing assistant with dynamic parking lines for safe and precise parking maneuvers.

3. Installation Guide

The SIXWIN Dash Cam features a simple Plug & Play installation process using either a suction cup or adhesive mount. Follow these steps for proper setup:

  1. Step 1: Prepare the Surface. First, use a clean rag to wipe the glass surface where you intend to mount the dash cam. Ensure the area is dry and free of dust or grease.
  2. Step 2: Attach the Mounting Bracket. Secure the mounting bracket to the main dash cam unit.
  3. Step 3: Mount the Dash Cam. Remove the protective film from the adhesive mount (or attach the suction cup) and firmly press the dash cam onto the cleaned windshield in your desired position.
  4. Step 4: Connect the Rear Camera (Optional). If using the rear camera, connect its cable to the main unit and route the cable neatly along the vehicle's interior to the rear. Secure the rear camera in place.
  5. Step 5: Connect the Power Supply. Plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket and connect the power cable to the main dash cam unit.
  6. Step 6: Adjust Camera Angle. Power on the dash cam and adjust the angles of all cameras to ensure optimal recording coverage.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Power On/Off

The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle's ignition is turned on. It will power off automatically when the ignition is turned off.

4.2. Recording Modes

  • Loop Recording: The dash cam continuously records video in short segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes). When the memory card is full, the oldest unprotected files are automatically overwritten to make space for new recordings.
  • G-Sensor (Emergency Recording): In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in G-sensor will automatically detect the event and lock the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. These files are stored in a separate folder.
  • Motion Detection: When enabled, the dash cam will automatically start recording if it detects movement in front of the vehicle while parked. Recording typically lasts for 10 seconds and stops if no further motion is detected. This feature is ideal for parking surveillance.
  • Parking Monitoring: With a hardwire kit (sold separately), the dash cam can monitor your vehicle 24/7, even when parked. It will automatically record if an impact or motion is detected, providing continuous protection.

4.3. Display and Navigation

The 3-inch IPS display allows you to view live footage from all cameras and navigate through settings. The touchscreen interface enables flexible brightness adjustment for optimal visibility day or night.

4.4. Reversing Assistant

When shifting into reverse gear, the dash cam automatically displays a high-definition rear view on the 3-inch screen, complete with dynamic parking assist lines. This feature helps you park safely and accurately.

4.5. Night Vision

The interior camera is equipped with 8 infrared LEDs, providing enhanced night vision capabilities. This ensures clear and detailed recordings even in complete darkness, which is particularly useful for monitoring the vehicle's interior.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the camera lenses and the display screen with a soft, dry cloth to ensure clear image quality. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Memory Card: Format the microSD card periodically (e.g., once a month) to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Use a high-quality Class 10 or higher microSD card, up to 64GB.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website for any available firmware updates. Keeping your dash cam's firmware up-to-date can improve performance and add new features.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the dash cam in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
