4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and safe operation of your Movcan V60 Electric Bike.
4.1 General Care
- Keep the bike clean, especially after riding in wet or muddy conditions.
- Store the bike in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Regularly check all fasteners for tightness.
4.2 Brakes
The V60 is equipped with dual hydraulic brakes, offering superior stopping power and responsiveness compared to mechanical brakes. Regularly inspect brake pads for wear and ensure brake levers operate smoothly. If you notice reduced braking performance or unusual noises, have the brakes inspected by a qualified technician.

4.3 Tires
The 20 x 4-inch fat tires are designed for all-terrain performance. Check tire pressure before each ride and maintain it within the recommended range (typically indicated on the tire sidewall). 5. Troubleshooting
This section provides general guidance for common issues. For more complex problems, please contact Movcan customer support.
- Bike not powering on: Check if the battery is properly seated and charged. Ensure the key is in the "on" position if applicable.
- Motor not assisting: Verify that the PAS level is not set to zero and that the throttle is engaged (if in pure electric mode). Check for any error codes on the LCD display.
- Reduced range: This can be due to riding conditions (e.g., steep hills, strong headwinds), excessive use of throttle, low tire pressure, or battery degradation over time.
- Brake noise: New brakes may make some noise. If noise persists or braking performance is affected, inspect brake pads and rotors for contamination or wear.
