Operating Instructions

Multifunction Display

Your AML Thrill MTRI1 watch features a multifunction quartz movement, typically including:

  • Day Indicator: A sub-dial displaying the current day of the week.
  • Date Indicator: A sub-dial displaying the current day of the month.
  • 24-Hour Indicator: A sub-dial showing the time in a 24-hour format, useful for distinguishing AM/PM.

Water Resistance

This watch is water resistant up to 10 BAR (100 meters), conforming to DIN 8310 standards. This means it is suitable for everyday use, swimming, and snorkeling. It is not suitable for high-impact water sports or diving.

  • Ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.
  • Do not operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet or submerged.
  • Avoid exposing the watch to hot water, steam, or sudden temperature changes, as this can compromise the water seals.

Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Wipe the watch case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth regularly to remove dust and fingerprints.
  • For the silicone strap, use a mild soap solution and a soft brush, then rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry completely.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the watch's finish or seals.

Battery Replacement

The watch is powered by a quartz movement requiring a watch battery. When the battery runs low, the second hand may start to skip seconds or stop entirely. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and function.

Storage

When not in use, store your watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The original Aston Martin packaging box is ideal for storage.

Troubleshooting

Watch Not Running

  • Check the Crown: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in. If it is pulled out, the watch will not run.
  • Battery: The battery may be depleted. Contact a qualified watch technician for battery replacement.

Incorrect Time/Date

  • Reset Time: Follow the 'Initial Time and Date Setting' instructions to reset the time and date.
  • Impact: A strong impact may affect the movement. If the issue persists after resetting, consult a technician.

Condensation Under Crystal

  • If condensation appears under the crystal, it indicates a breach in the water resistance. Immediately take the watch to a qualified technician to prevent further damage.
