3.2. Wiring Diagram (General)

3.3. Mounting

  1. Remove the existing car radio from the dashboard.
  2. Attach the provided mounting brackets to the sides of the TDD-727Mp5 unit using the supplied screws.
  3. Carefully slide the unit into the dashboard opening, ensuring all wires are connected and not pinched.
  4. Secure the unit in place using the mounting brackets and screws, or by reattaching the vehicle's factory mounting system.
  5. Reassemble the dashboard trim panels.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Power On/Off and Basic Controls

  • Power On: Turn the vehicle's ignition to the ACC or ON position. The unit should power on automatically. If not, press the Power button (usually marked with ) on the front panel.
  • Power Off: Turn the vehicle's ignition to the OFF position. The unit will power off. Alternatively, press and hold the Power button for a few seconds.
  • Volume Control: Use the Volume Up/Down buttons or the touchscreen interface to adjust audio levels.
  • Mute: Briefly press the Power button to mute/unmute audio.

4.2. Touchscreen Navigation

The 7-inch HD touchscreen allows for intuitive control. Tap icons to select functions, swipe to navigate menus, and use pinch-to-zoom gestures where supported (e.g., in navigation apps).

4.3. Radio (FM/AM) Operation

  1. From the main menu, tap the "Radio" icon.
  2. Select the desired band (FM/AM).
  3. Use the Seek Up/Down buttons or touchscreen arrows to tune to stations.
  4. To save a station, tune to it, then press and hold one of the preset buttons on the screen.

4.4. Bluetooth Connectivity

4.7. Rear Camera Display

If a compatible rear camera is connected and properly wired to the reverse gear signal, the display will automatically switch to the camera view when the vehicle is put into reverse gear.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning the Unit

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the display and exterior of the unit.
  • For stubborn dirt, dampen the cloth lightly with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the screen or finish.

6. Troubleshooting
