5. Setup
5.1 Power Supply
The feeder supports dual power options: DC adapter or 3 D-Cell batteries (not included) for backup.
- DC Power: Connect the 5V/1A DC adapter to the power port on the back of the feeder and plug it into a wall outlet.
- Battery Backup: For uninterrupted feeding during power outages, install 3 D-Cell batteries into the battery compartment at the bottom of the feeder. Ensure correct polarity.

5.2 App Download and Installation

5.3 Wi-Fi Connection
- Open the "Smart Life" app.
- Tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon on the home screen.
- The app will auto-search for nearby devices. Select your pet feeder from the list.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to connect the feeder to your 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network during setup.
5.4 Filling the Food Container
- Remove the lid of the food storage container.
- Pour dry pet food into the container. The feeder has a 4L capacity.
- Place the desiccant bag into its designated compartment in the lid to maintain food freshness. Replace the desiccant every 1-2 months.
- Securely close the lid to ensure an airtight seal.
