5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Reading the Display
The main unit's LCD display shows temperature and humidity data from up to 10 locations (including the main unit itself and up to 9 sensors), along with date, time, and weather conditions. You can switch and view the data of each sensor by clicking the top touch button on the main unit.
5.2 12/24-hour System Switch
Double-click the reset button on the main unit to switch between the 12-hour and 24-hour time display system.
5.3 Temperature Unit Switch (°C/°F)
Double-click the reset button on the main unit to switch the temperature unit between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) on the screen. To change the temperature unit within the app, navigate to the 'Setting' page in the app and select your preferred unit.
5.4 Temperature and Humidity Alarms
You can set custom high and low thresholds for temperature and humidity within the app. If the actual readings go outside the preset range, the app will send instant alert messages to your smartphone.

5.5 Data Records and Export
The eMylo system stores temperature and humidity data for up to one year. You can view statistics per day, month, or year within the app. Data can also be exported to your email address for further analysis.
5.6 Intelligent Linkage
Create smart scenes within the Tuya Smart Life app to link your eMylo system with other compatible Tuya smart devices. For example:
- If indoor temperature exceeds 30°C (86°F), automatically turn on a smart air conditioner.
- If humidity drops below 20% (40%), automatically activate a smart humidifier.

5.7 Voice Control
The system is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Use voice commands to inquire about temperature and humidity:
- "Alexa, what is the [device name] humidity?"
- "Alexa, what is the temperature of [device name]?"
- "OK Google, what is the [device name] humidity?"
- "OK Google, what is the temperature of [device name]?"

6. Maintenance
6.1 Low Battery Alerts
The app will send an alert message when the battery level of a wireless sensor is low, reminding you to replace the batteries (LR03-1.5V/AAA*2).
6.2 Cleaning
Wipe the main unit and sensors with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the main unit in water. The wireless sensors are IP65 waterproof and dustproof, suitable for outdoor use, but should not be submerged.
6.3 Sensor Placement
Place sensors in locations where accurate temperature and humidity readings are desired. Avoid direct sunlight, heat sources, or areas with extreme airflow that could skew readings. The IP65 rating makes the sensors suitable for various environments including kitchens, bathrooms, greenhouses, refrigerators, and outdoor areas.

7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Temperature and Humidity Calibration
If you suspect inaccurate readings, you can calibrate the temperature and humidity values:
- Go to the 'Setting' page within the app.
- Select the calibration value for temperature or humidity.
- Press the reset button on the main unit once to sync the calibrated data on the screen and in the app.
7.2 Connectivity Issues
- Main Unit not connecting to WiFi: Ensure your WiFi network is 2.4GHz. Check WiFi signal strength. Restart your router and the main unit.
- Sensors not connecting to Main Unit: Ensure sensors have fresh batteries. Bring sensors closer to the main unit during initial pairing.
7.3 Display Issues
- No display on main unit: Ensure the USB power cable is securely connected to a working 5V/1A power source.
- Incorrect time/date: Ensure the main unit is connected to WiFi, as it syncs time and date automatically.
8. Safety Information
- Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the device.
- Keep the main unit away from water and high humidity environments.
- Dispose of batteries according to local regulations.
- Use only the specified power supply (DC 5V/1A) for the main unit.
