3. Setup Instructions
The LIONWEI docking station is designed for plug-and-play operation, requiring no driver installation for basic functionality.
3.1 Connecting the Docking Station to Your Laptop
- Ensure your laptop is powered on.
- Connect the integrated USB-C cable from the docking station to a compatible USB-C port on your laptop.
3.2 Connecting External Displays

For Windows systems, the docking station supports MST (Multi-Stream Transport) and SST (Single-Stream Transport) for various display configurations, including Mirror and Extend modes across multiple monitors.
- Extend Mode: Each external monitor can display different content, extending your desktop workspace.
- Mirror Mode: All external monitors display the same content as your laptop screen.

4.3 macOS Display Configuration
For macOS systems, the docking station supports Mirror and Non-Mirror (Extend) modes. Please note that macOS typically only supports extending to one external monitor, with other monitors mirroring that extended display.
- Mirror Mode: All external monitors display the same content as your MacBook screen.
- Non-Mirror Mode (Extend): Your MacBook screen and one external monitor can display different content. Additional monitors will mirror the extended display.
