1. Important Safety Information

Please read and save these instructions before using your Akacozie Humidifier. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Always place the humidifier on a firm, flat, water-resistant surface away from walls and heat sources.
  • Do not immerse the base, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
  • Unplug the humidifier before filling, cleaning, or moving it.
  • Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank. Use only the designated aroma tray.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Do not block air vents.
  • Use only purified or distilled water to minimize white dust accumulation.

2. Product Components

3. Setup Guide

Follow these steps for initial setup of your humidifier.

3.1 Unboxing and Placement

  1. Carefully remove all packaging materials and accessories from the water tank.
  2. Place the humidifier on a flat, stable surface.
  3. Ensure the power cord is easily accessible and not obstructed.

3.2 Remote Control Setup

  1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Insert two AAA 1.5V batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment.

3.3 Filling the Water Tank

The Akacozie Humidifier features a convenient top-fill design.

  1. Remove the top cover of the humidifier.
  2. Pour purified or distilled water directly into the water tank. Fill up to the "MAX" line indicated on the water level window.
  3. Replace the top cover securely.

Note: Using tap water may lead to white dust accumulation due to mineral content. Distilled or purified water is recommended.

4. Operating Instructions

Learn how to use the various functions of your humidifier.

4.1 Power On/Off

  • Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
  • Press the Power button on the control panel or remote to turn the humidifier on or off.
  • The device defaults to cool mist when powered on.
  • It may take approximately 40 seconds for mist to appear during the first use.

4.2 Adjusting Mist Levels

The humidifier offers three adjustable mist levels: Low, Medium, and High.

  • Press the Mist button on the control panel or remote to cycle through the mist levels.
  • Adjust the 360° adjustable nozzle on top to direct the mist as desired.

4.3 Setting Target Humidity

Maintain a comfortable humidity level automatically.

  • Press the Humidity button on the control panel or remote.
  • Adjust the desired humidity level between 45% and 95%. The humidifier will automatically maintain this level.

4.4 Warm Mist Function

Switch to warm mist for added comfort during colder seasons.

  • Press the Warm button on the control panel or remote to enable or disable the warm mist function.
  • It may take approximately 15 minutes for warm mist to be produced.
  • When warm mist is turned off, the unit operates in cool mist mode.

4.5 Timer Function

Set the humidifier to operate for a specific duration.

  • Press the Timer button on the control panel or remote to set the timer for 1-12 hours.
  • The humidifier will automatically turn off once the set time has elapsed.

4.6 Night Light & Sleep Mode

Enhance your sleep environment with these features.

  • Press the Light button on the remote to turn the night light on or off. The night light illuminates the water level window.
  • Press and hold the Sleep/Light button on the control panel for 3 seconds to activate Sleep Mode. In Sleep Mode, the LED panel dims, and the "moon" icon remains dimly lit. Press any button to reactivate the screen.

4.7 Essential Oil Diffusion

Add your favorite essential oils for aromatherapy.

  • Pull out the aroma tray located at the back of the humidifier.
  • Add 2-5 drops of your preferred essential oil onto the aroma pad inside the tray.
  • Slide the aroma tray back into place securely.

Note: Only add essential oils to the aroma pad. Never add oils directly to the water tank or other components, as this may damage the unit.

5. Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your humidifier.

5.1 Daily Maintenance

  • Empty and rinse the water tank daily.
  • Wipe the outer surface with a soft, damp cloth.

5.2 Weekly Cleaning (Descaling)

To remove mineral buildup (scale), follow these steps:

  1. Unplug the humidifier from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the aroma pad tray and aroma pad.
  3. Remove the water inlet tank from the main body.
  4. Tilt the water chamber in the outlet direction for drainage.
  5. Remove the water pump and silicone tube from the main body.
  6. Soak the aroma pad, aroma pad tray, water pump, and silicone tube in distilled white vinegar for 15-20 minutes to loosen scale.
  7. Fill the water tank and water chamber with distilled white vinegar. Soak for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Use the cleaning brush and a soft cloth to remove any mineral buildup from all parts.
  9. Empty the water chamber and water tank.
  10. Rinse all parts (aroma pad, aroma pad tray, water pump, silicone tube, and water inlet tank) thoroughly under running water until the vinegar smell is completely gone. Note: Ensure not to let water enter the air outlet.
  11. Dry all parts completely before reassembly.
  12. Place the aroma pad back into the aroma pad tray and put the tray back into place securely.
  13. Reconnect the water pump and silicone tube.
  14. Reassemble the main body and water inlet tank.
  15. Wipe the outer surface of the humidifier with a soft cloth.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
