Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your Patoolio 20V Battery Tiller.

1. Install the Transport Wheels & Covers:

   Slide each wheel onto the axle. Insert the quick-release pin through the axle hole and bend it to lock. Press the decorative cover onto the wheel.

2. Install the Middle Handle:

   Align the holes of the middle handle with the tiller body. Insert the screws with washers and tighten them using the provided handle knobs.

   

3. Install the Grip Handles:

   Attach the left and right grip handles to the middle handle. Ensure the holes align, insert screws with washers, and tighten them with the handle knobs.
4. Secure the Power Cord:

   Fasten the power cord along the handle using the provided cable clamps to prevent it from interfering with operation.

5. Install Battery Packs & Safety Key:

   Open the battery compartment cover. Insert both 20V 4.0Ah battery packs until they click into place. Insert the safety key, then close the cover.

   

   To remove a battery pack, press the release button on the battery and pull the pack out.

Operating Instructions

Before operating, ensure all safety precautions are understood and followed.

1. Starting the Tiller:

   With the battery packs and safety key installed, press the safety button and then squeeze the trigger switch on the grip handle to start the tines.

   

2. Adjusting Tilling Depth:

   The tiller features a 4-position adjustable wheel. Adjust the wheel position to achieve the desired tilling depth for various tasks, from shallow weeding to deep soil turning.

   

3. Tilling Techniques:

   Guide the tiller slowly and steadily across the soil. For deeper cultivation, make multiple passes. The 14-inch tilling width and 8.7-inch depth are designed for efficient soil preparation.

   

4. Overload Protection:

   The tiller is equipped with intelligent overload protection. If the tines encounter tough conditions like large roots or stones, the motor may temporarily stop to prevent damage. Clear the obstruction and restart the tiller.

• Cleaning:

  After each use, disconnect the battery packs and clean the tines and housing. Remove any accumulated soil, weeds, or debris. Use a damp cloth; do not use water jets or harsh chemicals.

• Tine Inspection:

  Regularly inspect the steel tines for wear, damage, or bending. Replace worn or damaged tines promptly to maintain tilling efficiency and safety.
• Battery Care:

  Store battery packs in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Charge batteries fully before long-term storage and recharge every 3-6 months to maintain battery health.

• Storage:

  Store the tiller in a dry, secure location, out of reach of children. Ensure the tiller is clean and dry before storage.
