Troubleshooting Guide
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No coffee dispenses. | Water tank empty; machine not primed; coffee too finely ground or tamped too hard; brew group clogged. | Fill water tank; prime the machine; adjust grind setting or tamp pressure; clean brew group. |
| Espresso brews too slowly or drips. | Coffee too finely ground; too much coffee in portafilter; tamped too hard. | Adjust grind to a coarser setting; reduce coffee dose; tamp with less pressure. |
| Espresso brews too quickly or is watery. | Coffee too coarsely ground; too little coffee in portafilter; tamped too lightly. | Adjust grind to a finer setting; increase coffee dose; tamp with more pressure. |
| Steam wand not producing steam. | Not at steaming temperature; wand clogged with milk residue. | Wait for machine to heat up; clean steam wand thoroughly. |
| Grinder is clogged. | Beans are too oily or foreign object present. | Clean the grinder burrs. Avoid very oily beans. |
