6. Setup and Installation

Professional installation is recommended for hardwired setups. Ensure power is disconnected before starting installation.

6.1 Pre-Installation Check

Before installing, connect the unit to power and test all functions (lighting, exhaust, heat 1, heat 2) using the remote control to ensure proper operation. Pair the remote by pressing and holding the standby button until a beep is heard.

6.2 Ducting Connection

  1. Secure the vent cover and the ventilation connector to the flexible ducting using screws.
  2. Attach the assembled ducting to the exhaust port of the main unit, securing it with screws.

6.3 Ceiling Installation

  1. Ensure the ceiling opening is sized correctly (12.2" x 12.6" / 30.98cm x 32cm).
  2. Insert the main unit into the ceiling opening. The unit is designed to be installed above the ceiling.
  3. Insert the sheet springs into the designated openings on the unit.
  4. Connect the lighting wires.
  5. Hang and secure the panel to the main unit using the springs.
  6. Adjust the position of the panel and the unit for a flush fit.

7. Operating Instructions

The unit is controlled via the included wireless remote. Ensure the remote has working batteries (2 x AAA, not included).

7.1 Remote Control Functions

  • Heat 1: Activates 1100W heating.
  • Heat 2: Activates 2200W heating.
  • Ventilator: Turns on the exhaust fan for ventilation.
  • Lamp: Turns the LED light on or off.
  • Fan: Activates the fan function (separate from ventilation, often used with heating).
  • Standby: Puts the unit in standby mode.

Note: Heat 1 and Heat 2 functions must be used together with the fan function for proper operation and heat distribution. After turning off Heat 1 or Heat 2, the fan will continue to run for 30 seconds to release residual heat, ensuring system safety and durability.
