5. Operating Instructions

The STARRYBOT cleaner operates with a three-step process: spray, scrub, and suction.

Three Steps for Easy Operation: Spray, Scrub, Suction

Figure 4: Three Steps for Easy Operation. This image illustrates the three primary actions of the cleaner: spraying solution, scrubbing the surface, and suctioning the dirty liquid.

  1. Pre-treat (Optional): For heavily soiled areas, pre-treat with a suitable stain remover according to its instructions.
  2. Power On: Turn on the machine using the power switch.
  3. Spray: Hold the cleaning tool over the stained area. Press the trigger on the tool handle to spray cleaning solution onto the surface.
  4. Scrub: Gently scrub the stained area with the brush on the cleaning tool. For stubborn stains, allow the solution to sit for a few minutes before scrubbing.
  5. Suction: Release the spray trigger and slowly pull the cleaning tool across the wet area, applying downward pressure to engage the powerful 15Kpa suction. This extracts the dirty water and solution. Repeat until the area is clean and as dry as possible.
  6. Rinse (Optional): For best results, you may rinse the area by filling the clean water tank with only warm water (no solution) and repeating the spray and suction steps.

Versatile Cleaning Applications:

  • Carpets and Rugs: Use the 5-inch wide tool for larger carpeted areas.
  • Upholstery and Furniture: The 3-inch hand tool is ideal for delicate fabrics and intricate areas on couches, chairs, and mattresses.
  • Car Interiors: Both tools can be used to clean car seats, floor mats, and other interior surfaces.
  • Pet Messes: The powerful suction and specialized tools are effective for removing pet stains and odors.
