2. Safety Information

Warning: Do not exceed the maximum recommended weight of 100 kg (220 lbs) on the tabletop. Exceeding this limit may cause damage to the table or lead to injury.

Carefully follow all assembly instructions to ensure the stability and structural integrity of the table. Improper assembly can result in instability and potential hazards.

General Assembly Steps:

5. Operating (Extending and Retracting the Table)

The CARMEN dining table features an extendable mechanism to adjust its length from 110 cm (round) to 200 cm (oval), accommodating more guests.

To Extend the Table:

1. Clear the tabletop of all items.
2. Locate the locking mechanisms (if any) underneath the table and release them.
3. Gently pull the two main halves of the tabletop apart. The extension slides will glide smoothly.
4. Insert the extension leaves (Vassoio in due parti) into the gap created. Ensure they are properly aligned and seated.
5. Push the main tabletop halves back together until they meet the extension leaves and the table is fully closed.
6. Engage any locking mechanisms to secure the extended tabletop.

To Retract the Table:

1. Clear the tabletop of all items.
2. Release any locking mechanisms.
3. Gently pull the two main halves of the tabletop apart slightly.
4. Remove the extension leaves. Store them safely to prevent damage.
5. Push the main tabletop halves back together until they meet, forming the round table.
6. Engage any locking mechanisms to secure the round tabletop.

6. Maintenance

Proper care and maintenance will prolong the life and appearance of your IDMarket CARMEN dining table.

• Cleaning: Wipe the tabletop and legs with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or excessive moisture, which can damage the melamine coating and wood finish.
