4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker.

1. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the DC5V port on the speaker.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
3. The LED indicator will show charging status. It will turn off or change color when fully charged.

4.2 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Press and hold the Power button to turn on the speaker. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "M17" from the list of devices.
4. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light will remain solid, and you will hear an audible confirmation.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

• Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds to turn the speaker on or off.

5.2 Music Playback

• Play/Pause: Short press the Play/Pause button.
• Next Track: Short press the Volume Up / Next Track button.
• Previous Track: Short press the Volume Down / Previous Track button.
• Volume Up: Long press the Volume Up / Next Track button.
• Volume Down: Long press the Volume Down / Previous Track button.

5.3 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

To achieve an immersive stereo sound experience, you can pair two M17B speakers together:

1. Ensure both M17B speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), long press the Play/Pause / TWS Pairing button until you hear a pairing tone.
3. The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. Once connected, the primary speaker's Bluetooth indicator will flash, and the secondary speaker's indicator will be solid.
4. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 4.2.

5.4 EQ Modes

The M17B speaker features multiple EQ modes to optimize your listening experience:

• Short press the EQ button to cycle through available sound modes (e.g., Bass Boost, Standard, Vocal).

5.5 LED Light Modes

The speaker features adjustable LED lights with eight types of lighting effects:

• Short press the Power button to change the LED light mode.
• Continue pressing to cycle through the different effects or turn the lights off.

5.6 Hands-Free Calling

With the built-in microphone, you can answer or reject calls:

• Answer Call: Short press the Play/Pause button.
• End Call: Short press the Play/Pause button during a call.
• Reject Call: Long press the Play/Pause button when a call comes in.

5.7 Other Playback Modes

The speaker supports playback from USB drives, TF cards, and AUX-in connections:

• Insert a USB drive into the USB port for direct music playback.
• Insert a MicroSD (TF) card into the TF Card slot for direct music playback.
• Connect an audio device using a 3.5mm AUX cable (not included) to the AUX-in port. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.
