  • Left Click Button: Standard primary click function.

Setup

1. Charging the Mouse

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the mouse.

  1. Connect the USB-C cable to the mouse and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
  2. Alternatively, place the mouse onto the RGB Charging Dock. Ensure the mouse is correctly aligned for charging.
  3. The mouse's indicator light will show charging status and turn off or change color when fully charged. A full charge provides up to 45 hours of continuous wireless operation.

2. Tri-Mode Connectivity

The WG13E supports three connection modes: 2.4GHz Wireless (StrikeSpeed), Bluetooth 5.0, and Wired (USB-C).

2.1. 2.4GHz Wireless (StrikeSpeed) Mode

  1. Locate the StrikeSpeed 2.4GHz receiver (USB dongle) inside the mouse's storage compartment or in the package.
  2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Slide the connectivity switch on the underside of the mouse to the "2.4G" position.
  4. The mouse should automatically connect to your computer.

2.2. Bluetooth 5.0 Mode

  1. Slide the connectivity switch on the underside of the mouse to the "BT" position.
  2. The mouse will enter pairing mode (indicator light may flash).
  3. On your computer or mobile device, open Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
  4. Select "FANTECH WG13E" from the list of available devices to pair.
  5. Once paired, the indicator light will stabilize.

2.3. Wired (USB-C) Mode

  1. Connect the USB-C cable to the mouse and the other end to a USB port on your computer.
  2. Slide the connectivity switch on the underside of the mouse to the "Wired" position (or "Off" if it automatically switches to wired when connected).
  3. The mouse will function as a wired mouse and charge simultaneously.

Operating Instructions

1. DPI Adjustment

The FANTECH WG13E features a PixArt PAW3311 sensor with adjustable DPI settings. You can cycle through preset DPI levels (400/800/1200/1600/3200/12000) using the dedicated DPI button (if present) or through software customization.

2. Programmable Buttons

The mouse is equipped with five programmable buttons. These can be customized using the FANTECH software to assign macros, shortcuts, or other functions to enhance your gaming and productivity.

  • Download the official FANTECH software from the FANTECH website.
  • Install the software and connect your mouse.
  • Within the software, you can remap buttons, create macros, adjust DPI stages, and customize lighting effects.
  • Settings can be saved to the mouse's onboard memory.

3. Grip Styles

The symmetrical design of the WG13E accommodates various grip styles for optimal comfort and control.

  • Palm Grip: The entire palm rests on the mouse.
  • Claw Grip: Fingers are arched, and the palm rests on the back of the mouse.
  • Fingertip Grip: Only the fingertips touch the mouse, allowing for maximum agility.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

  • Disconnect the mouse from your computer before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the mouse.
  • For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals.
  • Use a cotton swab or compressed air to clean around buttons and the scroll wheel.
  • Clean the optical sensor on the underside with a dry cotton swab to ensure accurate tracking.

2. Replacing PTFE Skates

The WG13E comes with additional PTFE skates. If your current skates show significant wear, replacing them can restore smooth gliding performance.

  • Carefully peel off the old PTFE skates using a thin, non-abrasive tool.
  • Ensure the surface is clean and free of adhesive residue.
  • Peel the backing from the new PTFE skates and carefully apply them to the designated areas on the underside of the mouse.
  • Press firmly to ensure proper adhesion.

Troubleshooting

  • Move the mouse closer to the receiver/device to rule out interference.
Mouse cursor erratic or not tracking smoothly.

  • Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface (e.g., a mouse pad). Avoid highly reflective or transparent surfaces.
  • Check DPI settings; adjust to a lower DPI if movement is too sensitive.
Buttons not functioning correctly.
  • Ensure the mouse is properly connected.
  • Check button assignments in the FANTECH software.
  • Try connecting the mouse to a different computer to rule out software conflicts.
Mouse not charging.
  • Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the mouse and the power source.
  • If using the charging dock, ensure the mouse is correctly seated and the dock is powered.
  • Try a different USB-C cable or USB port/power adapter.
